oversaturated, oversharpened photos on the iPhone XS just like any other China OEMs. Yuck

The iPhone XS is crushing these photos! Very clean with great focus and color reproduction. The pixel 2XL comes in consistently at a close second. The Note 9s photos are overexposed as with the original iPhone X

It’s all to what you like. The note 9 I think can take more light out of less light given but these are all pretty close and great photos. But again nobody can be happy. What a bunch of negative people with a lot of hate in your thoughts.

Do you actually know what the word hate means? Because haters like you throw it around so loosely. Just because someone doesn't see things exacting the way you do, doesn't mean they have hate. Maybe you should look in the mirror and you may actually see the definition of hatred and animosity against others.

Color balance this color balance that.. too much excuses just to make an iPhone look better. Note 9 is on another level. Best camera out there. Enough with excuses..

The new IPhones surely have I. Proved with its 1.7 aperture which let's in more light. But the Note having 1.5 let's in even more light. The Pixel shots I though were ugly and darker. Samsung cameras have been the best for quite awhile now. Until Apple matches the Samsung camera with the Aperture, you can expect Samsung will do better.

PA. since the Galaxy S7 had. 1.7 aperture camera 2 years ok, let's see how the latest iPhone just now catching up to it compares. It is expected that a camera with a better aperture will take a better picture at night. But let's see how it stands up against a phone with the same spec under same conditions.

The ix and the note 9 I think look pretty good. For me the Pixel just didn't do as good as I thought it would have. But just my personal preferences I know.

iPhone XS did amazing job, starting to feel like i wanna upgrade this X for camera. If you have photos which have over burn areas, you can't fix it anyway, the photo is ruined and that's big problem with smartphone cams, but XS clearly did best job by far with that and dynamic range in those photos are something not seen before with smartphones.

Phonearena, please make these reviews with the slider. Having 4-6 separate images is hard to compare in the way you post them. I hope you would make the next comparison better.

Note 9 has the best results ,, Xperia XZ2 Premium should've been included in this test

Just to be fair, I ranked those 4 smartphones and it is just my own opinion 1. Note 9 (for overall situation) 2.iphone XS 3.iphone X/pixel 2 XL I do not want to go so much detail into their camera details! P.S - why did you guys put iPhone X there, just try to put either P20 pro or Sony XZ3 or even Nokia phones would have been a more competitive one! cos in my opinion, either mate 10 pro or Note 8 can handle those photos way better than iPhone X :)
