Lol, Apple had to support YouTube, because if Apple once again ignored the world's largest free video service, then Apple would be proving to the world that they are lying about the shift over, and to focus more services.

@whatev You make it sound like Apple is doing everyone a favor by posting a YouTube video.... Is that what you're trying to say???

Apple doesn't have the balls to enable comments in Youtube videos.

Apple wouldn't read them anyway.

In the past no one was invited unless you owned their device. All of a sudden, now that they desperately need everyone to jump on board and try their other services, Apple is going to let everyone watch. Screw your arrogance apple. Apple tried to force us into buying their products now they are begging us, the consumer, into watching after so many years being left out. I will never support a company that treats its potential customers so disdainly.

Apple has a YouTube channel from the beginning and they post all their product videos on it which is actually meant for customers. The launch event is just a product launch event and many people don’t even watch it though they post it on YouTube too once it’s over. It’s only about the livestream of the event and they are finally doing it on youtube as well with a better presentation or something I guess. So it’s not related to inviting or not inviting someone. They weren’t ignoring anyone either. Don’t try to find a conspiracy theory in everything. Things can be simpler.

They made it very hard for anyone unless you owned one of their devices. Why the sudden change to YouTube? Conspiracy my a**.

Apple is about to announce their own video streaming service. The problem with Apples new video service, is Apple's past history. They only support their platforms. If Apple continues with their antics, then Apples new video service will fail.

Wrong broski. Try again. Here's the info from last year. "First, you should know that Apple no longer restricts streaming of its events to Apple devices only, and you can also watch it from a Windows PC. Here are all the supported platforms for this livestream:" https://www.phonearena.com/news/How-to-watch-Apple-September-2018-iPhone-Xs-Xr-event-livestream_id108621

No longer is what you said. They once did. Once is enough to lose customers.

All of a sudden is what you said.

There is a difference between an announcement and a product launch. Most people are aware of their product launches. Has nothing to do with desperation.

I have a feeling that they are doing this to entice people to buy the Apple AR Glasses. I have feeling that this will be the move. Not sure, but anticipating...

The AR glasses will prove to be another thing that will be postponed again and again, until it dies quietly, like AirPower.

Hard to say, but we’ll have to see if they release AR glasses next week.

I can tell you now that they won't release them next week. The hardware required for Apple's rumored AR glasses would say the earliest be ready in late 2020, though more likely 2021.

It’s all about the lack of sales. They will try to advertise this POS phone where ever they can. For company to get out of their comfort zone, it only says on thing, desperation. They have no faith on their old model. The iPhone is boring, outdated, and not worth the price, not even close and they know this. Apple can’t come up with anything innovative so they will launch Hail Marys all year long.

Kinda like Samsung does, except Apple isn’t to the point of bribery via giving out tons of freebies to move the product.

Man Jeter...you are really an Anti-Apple customer wanting for Apple to loose. It will never happen. What has “your” Android phone brought out innovative that has compelled buyers over the iPhone?

The level of hate for an inanimate object is just mind-blowing. It reflects the current state of our society. Some of you people need to actually go outside every now and then and experience real things.
