The iPhone 11 might not be Apple's next iPhone

The iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max may actually be released as the iPhone Pro (5.8-inch) and iPhone Pro (6.5-inch). Similarly, the iPhone 11R could be marketed as the iPhone (2019).

What about iPhone XI and XI Max?

I just can't see those names being used. The XS is already pronounced as 'excess' by many so XI would basically be 'ex eye' which is just stupid branding. Pro is something nobody can get wrong.

I disagree, most people pronounced it "ex" because the iPhone never used roman numerals before and other products like Xbox one X are pronounced that way. If you name a prodcut XI, it's pretty obvious it's a roman numeral 11.

Not saying apple will name them XI, just saying everyone should know XI is 11.

Does it really matter? Google Iphone 120 second hack. Thats what matters. Even, if it is highly unlikely, its still an issue.

Apple- making the 'Pro' moniker meaningless for years.

They should not call any model Pro unless this model uses the Pencil , brings 120Hz and at least 4000 mAh.

Really? The Note has a pen and 4000+ battery, and its not called "pro". They should just stick with the "Plus' moniker.

If i would be Apple, i would continue with iPhone 9 and then 10, 11 etc. X series were anniversary phones.

Apple is getting desperate by naming it as iPhone "pro". They will use any marketing term to try and improve sales. It won't make any difference. Their sales are going to plummet.

Does it really matter? It will be the same customer rip-off like every year. Subpar specs for a premium price with dumbed-down iOS. This year with extra hideous camera arrangement topping.

Why so insecure? It will be amazing phone with amazing OS and best ecosystem in the market, just like every year, if the iPhone doesn’t offer great experience why you think people buy iPhone over and over again? Seriously get over it

Some peoepl keep buying it, because yes they want IOS; because they are locked in and don't have a choice for another device running IOS. Because Apple's marketing has made the device a much have fashion statement. The iPhone is an iconic device. But that isn't the issue. Again the issue is simple. Whatever the phone costs, you have to pay it if you want it. The problem is, when you compare the iphoen to any phone that costs the same, the iPhone seriously lacks many things others have. I am not saying the iPhone should have all the exact same features. But if Samsung can put a 4000Mah battery into a 5.8" dvice, why can't Apple put the same in a 6.1" device? If Smasung can put a 1440p display in a $750 phone, then why can't Apple? If Samsung can give you 256GB of storage for $999, then why is Appel charging the same for only 128GB of storage. Again you zealots are just opportunists who attack others and what they use, simply because you are insecure and you know Apple is ripping you off overall. The main reason Apple users keep buyign the iPhone is because they don't want to start over. With apple you can't take it with you. With Android, if you get sick of Samsung's BS moves, you can take nearly 100% of your stuff and move to another brand. You don't have to start over. With Apple you cna't take it with you. You can't take their vids or music, even though technically they will work on other devices. But you can't take all the apps. Even though you can basically find alternative that work equal or better to what Apple offers, when you get familiar with doing things a certain way and you liek using a certain about you took the time to learn, you don't want to start over. That is the biggest benefit of Windows and Android. Wherever you go, you can take it with you regardless of brand.

Everyone trying to throw "pro" into a product name, as it is suppose to actually mean something. When it comes to phones and tablets, that is really never gonna be nothign pro about them. The Note Pro as an example, fits the name because it was everything the smartphone is in a larger form factor, and it had applications that gave it that desktop feel and capability. making it a very "professional" level tool vs a typical Android tablet. But all these OEM's trying to use pro in a phone name is just stupid. Plus is more appropriate.
