Lo and behold, the 2018 iPhones may ship with fast chargers in the box

Supply chain sources are tipping that the iPhone 9, Xs and Xs Plus, or whatever Apple names them, will come with 18W USB-PD adapters, as well as USB-C to Lightning cable in the box, not outside of it. This will bring Apple up to speed with current Android handsets, which have been offering fast charging for a while, and the best examples allow you to squeeze a day or two of battery life with less than an hour and a half of fast charging.

really? you need to look s9 or G7 for that boring phone. it gets boring after a while but iPhone X is far from boring. beside iPhone X+ will make a lot of people happy.

The guy who you're replying right now is used to defend Apple like you did, look at him now, you'll be following his path once you see the light.

Everyone else has had fast chargers in the box for 2-3 years, but omg Apple is about to do it (and it's just a rumor) and it's a revolution.

Yeah, and 2-3 years for low-end phone to include 10W charger.

Basic physics, 5V x 2A = 10W and that ain't a fast charger.

Reason #480 why I won't buy an iPhone. This does not "bring Apple up to speed with current Android handsets" because it is not built in. Nice try

Reason #481 you can't afford an iPhone.

Reason #482 your whole self worth is clearly tied to the type of phone you use.

Or you can say hating a phone you can't afford.

Warped logic. What if you happen to own two phones for the price of one iPhone? Or if you required a dual-sim phone like a Mate 10? Don't worry, Apple will "innovate" soon and "invent" the dual-sim phone.

Apple, it's time to get rid of the lightning port as well. Make everything type C. They are the ones who are pushing the type-C port through their macbooks, and they are still going with this archaic lightning on iPads and iPhones, along with their accessories like magic keyboard and magic mouse 2.

No. That's a bad idea. Because the lighting port makes iPhone a special device, also it comes in the box so what's the problem? USB C is way too common thus Apple cannot standardize iPhone charging. Anyone will charge the iPhone by any USB C cable they bought from God knows where. Also the lighting port is invented by Apple thus confined to Apple. It makes them special.

Haha this guy with his stupid apple propaganda. It makes apple special just because the lighting port? Kid how old are you?

Old enough to be your mom's son in law.

Okay, here's the thing. The cable that iPhone comes in can't connect to a macbook without a dongle. That's pathetic. Not to mention that my macbook pro's charger charges my android phone, but it won't charge an iPhone. If you don't see the stupidity in that, may God help you.

Dude, did you really just post that stupid sh*t? LMAOOO man, you really are blinded by Apple.

I think you are not using the world tecnology properly, or you just browse facebook and check emails, but if you work seriousely and have to be productive and pratical, you can´t go to apple anymore, it´s too many compromises to make just to have a premium brand... i´m quiting from apple products, i already sell my macbook pro and my iphone... I´m much more happy with my samsung note 8 and my MSI gs65, beast of technology, i was blind to the real world

"Anyone will charge the iPhone by any USB C cable they bought from God knows where" They can change the phone with any lightning cable bought from God know where now, so what's the difference. Damn bet your momma is so proud of you.
