Apple iPhone 6s battery issue hits more phones than thought

If you've been following what is known now as #Batterygate, you know that Apple is replacing the battery for free on certain versions of the Apple iPhone 6s. Originally, Apple offered the free cell replacement for units produced between September and October 2015. Typing your handset's serial number into a special box on Apple's support page tells you whether or not your particular iPhone 6s is affected...

My work ip 6 also has this problem. Shut down at 40% this morning and once plugged in, came back with almost 40% already in but wouldn't turn on without plugging in to charge.

Is it only not blown out of proportion, because you are affected by the problem? If you were not affected, what would you be saying? Be honest! If possible!

I just wanted to see what salty comments would follow from the usual Apple haters.

So what? That still doesn't make it any less of a poor QC.

It's called deflection, and mxy is THE master when it comes to it.

This^^ladies and gentlemen, is a prime example of deflection at its finest, as well proving, once again, that he's a master at mimicking me. Bravo, mxy. Well done. :D

Do you prefer a complete refund or to live with your refurbished product?

It's not an explosion issue, but it is an issue, that Apple needs to get fixed. Don't deflect the issue bro...c'mon now.

They should. I got a little carried away. Honestly though they should repair and or compensate without any issue.

I guess you can;'t read what the article says. According to facts fool, Apple makes upp to 5M iPhone in a single month. That means in 2 months, at least 10M phones could be affected. 10M phones is not a small deal or as you say blown out of proportion. You are simply an idiot. But yet you made a big deal bout the Note 7, where only 2.5M units had sold with a "possible" issue, and yet facts show out of 2.5M, less than 40 actually caught on fire and only 100 total even showed any signs of overheating. No the Note 7 issue is actually the one blown out of proportion considering the numbers sold. But the iPhoen 4 once the antenna issue was founded, had already sold over 9M. The iPhone 6 bending, had also sold over 9M. In both cases these are phones where it is a manufacturers defect that effects every single phone, even if the issue doesn't show itself during your usage. You are simply a hypocritical stooge to always downplay Apple, buy up-play everyone else. I wish I had a photo of you. I bet you are one ugly grotesque looking person. In fact, I bet you look like this -http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/superman/images/4/46/Mxyzptlk-dcuo.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110416030344 After all, why would you choose a user name of such an ugly character?

Really? It took them 2 years to even acknolwedge there was an issue, because they didnt want a recall to happen. Samsung dealt with the issue in mear hours after the very first known issue. Samsung is better...AFCE THE FACTS AND SHUT THE HECK UP!
