Apple iPhone 6 vs Samsung Galaxy S5: in-depth specs comparison

The Apple iPhone 6 is no longer hidden below a thick veil of mystery, as Apple finally revealed the much-awaited flagship at a “historic” event today. After several years of dwelling in the realm of 4-inch displays, the iPhone lineup has finally scored a pretty substantial bump in its display size – from 4” all the way up to 4.7”, finally putting it (sort of) closer to the size league of its Android rivals, most of which have been hopping over the 5” inch barrier for quite some time now...

This is more of an apple advertisement than a real comparison. We all know apple, even with its latest phones, is far away from being like Samsung, Sony, LG, and maybe even Huawei

To me most of people seems to value battery capacity pretty high, how come that haven't been compared here?

" we have to give credit to Apple for once again pushing its limits." Come on now, are you tech sites that enamored by this company's products to make such a claim? This is the marginal iPhone update ever, going from an "S" to a whole number increase. It literally didn't do anything any other Android hasn't been doing for awhile now: increasing the screen size and putting in a slightly different processor. I bet if this was the same criteria update Samsung put out, your double standards would sing a more different tune, just because it's another popular OEM on the Android platform.

"the average Tom, D*ck, and Harry will probably hardly notice any significant difference between the displays of the two smartphones." Yeah, and my ass is chicken, right ?

The only thing holding me back from getting any Android device is Imessage, even though you all might think it is not important I use it so much and would rather use imessage than text, and Imessage has so many more features so if Android came out with something like Imessage I would definitely get an Android phone.

The most interesting comments are from wall huger who have never seen anything big on their fruit phones... Lol It is better to waste money on fruits instead of fruit phones what apple is giving that is cheaper in android and if you just want to be a wall huger then we cannot stop you. I am using S 5 and i am very comfortable with it in all aspects if apple users just want to compete than compete on the base of everything. 2 Years after apple is changing something in physical way but only by copying to get market share and in that 2 years major companies which are android based they innovate new ideas in cell phones and apple just copy.. Samsung introduced health measuring sensors apple knows very well how to grab money they gave apple watch lol next time they will give special ports of CAT-6 to use high speed net and then a new gadget will be to boost LTE and Wifi both at same time and i am sure wall huger will say that is the just end of innovation apple did lol.. Apple works for only money and i hate apple just due to that it has never cares users everything limited and then keep blaming on samsung and other android companies and sue them because apple is made by america.. Anyhow all wall huger just have a review what else companies have and realize the reality and accept it.
