Apple iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4 update brings improved audio for the speakerphone
Owners of the Apple iPhone 5 should be receiving an update to iOS 6.1.4 on Thursday afternoon. There is not much of a changelog here as the 11.5MB download brings updated speakerphone audio to the device. The update is for the Apple iPhone 5 only, and could contain a minor security enhancement as well as some bug fixes. The build number is 10B350.

The days of iOS are numbered with a revamped iOS 7 due to be introduced at WWDC next month. It's Jony Ive's baby now and early indications are that the leather clad icons and the skeumorphic look are out, replaced by what is being described as a flatter look. The actual launch of iOS 7 is rumored to take place in September.
