So it's useless because it may bend ? Seems Legit.

Nope, but of course it 'bends' if enough force is paced upon it as it's made of relatively maleable/soft aluminum alloy. Anyway... So it's essentially the same device that happens to be .5mm thinner than the Galaxy Tab S for no other reason than to claim that it's the thinnest tablet - Sure Whatever. What about it's weight - As that's far more important than shaving some 1mm or so? ...and what's this silly obsession Apple currently has with jumping from 16gb to 64gb of storage? Just make 32gb the Base Storage and Be Done With It, especially as 16gb (some 12.6 available) is absolutely useless on an iOS device that now requires nearly 5gb free just to perform a simple OTA OS update. Speaking of OS updates... What's with keeping the OG iPad Mini (A5 SoC) around another year when the A5 Soc can barely handle iOS 8, effectively making the device near-obsolete to those buying it in likely less than a year or so when iOS 9 is released (or will they simply change the ABOUT screen to a new number without adding any of the new features)? At least the price of the iPad Mini 2nd generation's price is now a far more reasonable US 299.00.

the excuse for the phone bending was that it could suffer that treatment in your pocket. what will it be for ipads? "what if slammed your sorry a** onto the ipad when it was resting on a chair"?

Why should people stop? You should call them out on it so people don't get ripped off. In fact, people should call them out more for other things like their ridiculous pricing. #pricegate should be started.

Someone, please, tell me how this is worthy of a pin to the top of the articles..... A) this is PHONE arena, not tablet. I get it, they encompass everything that is mobile tech. But still, this is just a new release. B) this tablet is almost exactly the same. sure, they bill the "3 billion transistors" because its an extreme number and most if not all of the consumers will not even know what that means. ("whoa bro, did you see that knew iPad thing? The really thin one? They said it has 3 million or billion transistor things." "whats that mean?" "I don't know, but I want it") C.) Google just dropped the official announcements for their new OS, New nexus phone, and new nexus tablet (which appears to be much more revolutionary than this ipad) and they get barely any love. We get it, phone arena, theres another new 700$ ipad. cool.

I know right?! Android + Two Nexus devices get little to no attention, but two Apple tablets get a freaking banner on the main page + six or seven articles (by tomorrow there should be at least fifty). How... professional.

Who cares about a Nexus? I mean, go outside ask every people what a Nexus is, you'll get a handful. Ask what an iPad is, you'll get plenty. So many articles = many clicks = many ad exposure = many money. But articles here became redundant,

Yeah everybody cares about Android. But when you say about Android, Galaxy, Xperia, HTC, Moto and others will be the first to think. Average joes does little know about Nexus which is targetted to geeks and developers. I too have a Nexus 7 so I know how it feels everytime someone ask what my tablet is. It is not popular as the iPad.

Once again, Apple and their iHerd only care about thinness. Honestly though, Apple's tablets are nowhere near as overpriced as their phones. $499 for 16GB Wi-Fi isn't bad...

Allright, allright.. it´s very thin... but does it have anything new, productive wise?
