Look at you, you smug s**t. You're actually proud of the fact that you use sock accounts to go downthumb all the comments you dislike?

Of course I will give a thumbsdown to all comments that I dislike. Wouldn't you? :)

Oh, and one more thing: I generally don't do up or downthumbs unless I spot abuse like yours (using multiple accounts to do so).

And excuse me. My very first post is on the 3rd page, while your name appears several times on all the pages of this article, and you have the nerve to take notice of me coming back on this thread? Now that's messed. Never call someone a disgusting troll when you are one disgusting troll yourself :)

I'm talking about your appearance coinciding with a rash of 2 to 3 spontaneous downthumbs on "pro Android" comments and 2 to 3 spontaneous upthumbs on "pro Apple" comments. It's too obvious to miss, Gemini. You've been spamming the upthumb/downthumb buttons with sock accounts. How pathetic can you get?

By the way, regarding your earlier elaborations:

Aspect ratio is fundamental to the looks of a device, as it affects the proportions of its dimensions. The iPad/iPad 2 looks boxier than the XOOM from the front, which is how you're going to be spending your time looking at either. Apart from the iPhone button on the bottom, there's nothing adorning the iPad's face either, so it's very much the same front design as the XOOM's.

You're also confusing "customer service" with "product satisfaction." Sure, Apple is highly ranked anyway, but that's not counting the fact that you don't get tech support after the first 90 days of ownership. What the hell is that? What other company will refuse to help its customers after ninety days?

Even if the price is the same, you're talking about only a little bit less money (when comparing prices of computers, a hundred bucks or so isn't as much) for an inferior product to something priced like the XOOM. And we don't even know how the other tablets will do on pricing.

The fact that they were able to do all that for the "upgraded" iPad 2 is diminished by the fact that it's widely known that they could've and SHOULD'VE had all of those features on the original iPad.

On the other hand, in a matter of months, Motorola started from scratch and came up with a winner of a product with only a small price difference when put side by side to the most comparable iPad model.

And the bandwagon approach doesn't work, not even with sales. You are right about there being something 'special," which I've mentioned before: it's called MARKETING. Apple has a kickass MARKETING team.

Well I am not the only ipad user on here. And I can apply your thoughts to you as well mister. And you know why you think that way? Because you are that way. Loser.

Yes, xoom is wider than the ipad2. So what? The ipad2 still looks better OVERALL.

If that no tech support after 90 days is a big deal, how come it did not affect the rating of Apple's customer service? And I never had to call Apple tech support anyway, because my ipad works just fine :) Again, survey shows that Apple users are more happy with their devices than anyone else. Just look at it that way because that sums up everything about Apple's service.

Regardless, for Apple to include all those upgrades and maintain its pricing, is a good thing and an advantage. Inferior? I'd believe that if your xoom would actually sell more than the ipad :) Obviously it didn't and it will not. Is that what you call superior? I don't think so.

Ah so you think that all the upgrades on the ipad2 should've been on the first ipad? Wow. So the ipad2 should be quadcore now then? Lol. Then maybe motorola should've released the xoom 2 years ago. I wonder why they didn't. Lol. Or maybe 4g phones should've been out 2 yrs ago. Or maybe the retina display should've been on the first iphone. I like your thinking. Lol. Or why did Apple release the iphone in 2007? They should've released it in 2006, lol.

Wow, motorola started from scratch. They probably never heard of the first ipad and had no idea that it was doing well, right? Lol.

And stop with the marketing thing already. Google is the advertising company, not Apple. If there's anyone who would be able to market a product better, it should be google, not Apple.

Wow, most of your reasoning is completely flawed...Go figure.

Apples own updates bricked most of their older devices, they told you to learn how to hold your phone differently, just because you didnt have to call tech support doesnt mean other people dont. I deal with these issues on a DAILY basis with customers. I see the problems customers have every single day, you are just basing your BS opinions on some biased online articles you have read.

Sheep, go figure

Oh please, this is my 3rd iphone and it never got bricked. If it did, simply go to an Apple genius bar and they'll replace it with a new one. Awesome huh. Again, don't talk about iphone's imperfection unless you can give me ahone with no flaws whatsoever.

So you do not want us to believe articles and surveys from reputable sources like JD Powers, but you want us to believe you? Wow, you're so smart. Where have you been all these years all knowing one? Lol.

JD Power just gave an award to Sprint for customer service and no other carrier...go figure...Sorry i dont trust their methods most of the time.

Apple does NOT replace iPhones just for the hell of it, if you didnt purchase their $60 Warranty. If i was allowed to give out customer information I would let you talk to 7 people I have on a list right now that I have been trying to help get their phones replaced by Apple for various MANUFACTURER issues, that they are giving them hard times over, but again, thanks for giving your "personal" (never needed help) BS that you are sharing.

Apple does replace units if there's a factory defect on it. You're ignorant. Contact LA iphone repair, they have their customers do it all the time :) Do you want their number? Which repair store do you work at?

Fast, great battery, no lag, top end performance specs, S-Amoled screen, tons of memory thats upgradable, replacable battery, insurance, perfectly working flash player and smooth internet experience, and more things to do with it than u can shake a stick at.

If you do tech support you'd know about the major issues android phones have had like constantly having to do master resets and one way audio problems to the point you can't even make calls.

LMAO, you mean SOME hardware, since their are OPTIONS on Android...Apple makes ONE PHONE per year and they still have a million issues! Your arguement is about low end compared to high end, compared to multiple manufacturers, compared to a company that has only ONE thing to make right!....Again, fail

Are you kidding me about the tech support? Google doesn't provide it at all. You can only reach them by email. Remember all the pissed off nexus customers because they couldn't get ahold of anyone when their phones didn't work. No pc manufacturer offers free tech support unless you buy a warranty just like Apple. Apple doesn't get monthly payments from customers like cell carriers. It's the carriers that offer the tech support for free not the manufacturer. If you work in the industry you should understand that.

No dumbass, Apple made ATT and Verizon sign contracts stating that ALL tech support is to be directed TO APPLE. Hence why they sell APPLE CARE! Please dont talk when you have no clue what you are talking about. Apple only offers 90 day tech support, and CHARGES for all other tech support by phone or in store.

And you're the ignoramus asshole who pretends to be smart, but is so retardedly dumb :)

Let me educate you dumbass. Depending on what the customers' issue is, it would either be the carrier or Apple who's going to assist the customer. In simple terms. If it's about their iphone plan, the carrier should be able to assist the customer. If it's about their iphone, then they will be directed to Apple. Understand now slow mo? Lol

530 and this site are basically the same entity. They go through and bash anything anti-apple because its just like apples marketing. They have to FLOOD everything telling people hwo great they are, because their products arent good enough to stand on their own feet without tv and ads attemping to brainwash you into thinking their crap is worth the money.

They brainwash the weak-minded sheep...the rest of us are too smart for that...Fanboys make fake accounts just to thumbs up and down posts...another point that they are pathetic.

Ummmm, can you please go back the pages and count how many posts between you and me are there? :) If there's anyone flooding the threads here with hateful posts, it is you, and that sniggly. Promoting your less than stellar xoom tab, lol. Ipad sales dwarfs it in comparison.

What's pathetic are people or animals like you who would scold someone for something that you do yourself as well. Now aren't you quite the hypocrite one :)

I never once mentioned a specific tablet, just like I never metion a certain OS over another. I just state the facts that Apple is a garbage company with poor customer service, normally higher prices, and devices that lack features, but are pretty for all the shallow sheep out there. They need marketing or else their products would do terrible when compared to the newer options out there, just like is happening now with the tablets.

So you can stop your immature BS, it's pathetic and the exact mentality of a Sheeple.

Oh please. You and sniggles are the same kind. He's your friend remember? :)

So you just like to hate Apple then? What does that make you? A garbage :) Don't hate Apple if you cannot afford their devices. And please don't tell me that you do not care to buy Apple devices, because if you don't, then why should you care about their pricing? :)

If Apple products lack features, then why should that bother you? Oh it's because it sells a lot. A lot more than your android tab :) And that pisses you off right? And because you're a sore loser in denial, you use the same cliche "it's a marketing thing" because you cannot accept the fact that Apple products rule :)

You're one bitter android biatch :)

LMAO @ Affording their products. Im just smarter than to throw away my money on inferior products. This isnt a pissing contest of who's is bigger, but Im pretty sure, I would win this immature contest.

What bothers me is you pathetic sheep that defend shit blindly without backing for your arguements.

What bothers me is Apples lack of customer service options and features and that I spend half of every day working to fix APPLES problems.

What are you like 19 years old, using your iPhone that your job at the grocery store afforded you in 6 months of saving? I mean seriously, you are by far the most immature and uneducated on this site so far.

And what's your basis when your say "inferior"? Let me guess. You base it on specs alone aren't you? Hahahahaha. And you think you're smart. Well you're not :)

What's more bothersome and more pathetic are illogical haters like you. I have been backing up my arguments. But of course you're too dense to understand :)

What? Apple lacks customer service, yet it wins awards for having the highest rated customer service and user satisfaction. And it lacks so much features that it is outselling its rivals. Nice one smarty pants. You said you spend half of your day fixing Apple's problems? Tell me, do you get paid fixing Apple's problems? If so, shouldn't you be thankful, lol. If not, why do you fix it? Again, you're not a smart person :)

Sorry, but based on logic, you are the immature one. Well you're a hater after all, so what can we expect from a filthy hater like you? :)

I don't get why you keep bashing Apple's awesome marketing like it is a bad thing? It is NOT misleading, nor is it slanderous (except when Jobs misquotes other CEO's, but that is not marketing). If a company has good marketing and is successful for that marketing then they are doing something right. What is the purpose of a company if it cannot make money?

Who bashed their marketing? Their marketing is amazing, it makes their garbage product seem like the best thing in the world, especially because their products are all always so shiney! They get people to seriously buy into this patheticness and support a company that doesnt give a damn about its customers so much that it wont even allow their ALL GLASS phone to be insured.

Apple's marketing is indeed awesome, and of course, match that with awesome devices, Apple is a huge success. It's the device that the users buy, not Apple's marketing strategies. Gosh you are so dumb :) No wonder you're getting a lot of thumbsdown :)

Honestly, I don't think the specs of any of these tablets are that much above one or another. I used to be an apple hater, but I am starting to respect them for making such quality products. As many people have said before they may not do everything (flash) and may not have the best specs (display, and cameras), but what it has, it does great. I have owned several android devices and like their functionality and over all I like the devices, but I have force closes, automatic reboots and freezing on a daily basis and that is just from texting and occasional browsing, hell would freeze over if I tried to play games and do other tasks my rooted, overclocked droid increible would blow up (I had these problems way before rooting, have exchanged the device multiple times, and have rooted the proper way and run cyanogenmod 7 with a trustworthy rom FYI). I am scared to even listen to music via pandora or any other music without a wall outlet and charger nearby because the battery life is nothing short of piss poor. Having to dim my display down to where I can barely see it so I can actually use my phone for a few hours without it dying sucks, and that's with an extended life battery. Apple's iPhone battery runs circles around my phone (and any smartphone I have ever seen). Back to the tablets, though. The iPad offers a lot that none of the others (the HP may, I'm not sure) offer which is a HUGE (maybe the biggest) selling point to me; netflix. Android seriously needs to step up their game when it comes to this. I truly don't give a shit about flash player I may use it once a day and could go without it, or just pay $5 for skyfire. The beauty of the iPad, paired with awesome battery life and reliability as I know it won't freeze and power cycle when trying to do the simplest tasks makes it the tablet I would choose over any of the others as of now. The Samsung is a close second, but until I see and android device that doesn't have terrible battery life and force close/reboot, etc. I am not buying another device running any form of android OS.
