The file system of iOS is called APFS and it's also used by the Mac, tvOS and watchOS.

yep. the file system is fine, it's the artificial walls built-up around the apps and OS that's the hindrance. for which Apple has its reasons.

I buy iPhones BECAUSE of those walls.

Could/should happen, if they really want the iPad to be able to replace a computer. But then again, that's what macs are for I guess.

Are you sure that you have file system in mind? I would say Apple is having one of the best file systems around :) Maybe you at talking about file manager?

Pretty sure you meant a proper file manager. The File system itself is perfectly fine

It's not perfect. But yeah they probably mean that. Apple isn't gonna open part of the file system to use because then hackers can more easily jailbreak iPhones, if they could could upload files directly to the file system. Even though many Android usres do root their phones, theer are far and away more benefits to the fact Android has an open file system. I love having the ability to store my personal data. Apple wants you to pay them for iCloud instead. DUMB for customers, GOOD for Apple.

Can we just move icons where we want them and put widgets on the home screen already

There might be a patent preventing Apple from doing that. That’s why Apple handles widgets differently.

I'm pretty sure Apple is still facing tens of action lawsuits that was filed against them after they were found slowing down older iPhones to force their costumers to upgrade their iPhones. Apple fanboys have the shortest memory.

Is it 2016 again or did you also use the Quantum Realm machine to recycle that old comment?

At least a Note 7 never cause a plane to crash and kill people. But an apple product did. And Apple product caught fire in the cockpit of an airplane. The plane crashed and killed everyone onboard. https://observer.com/2018/05/iphone-caught-fire-caused-2016-egyptian-plane-crash-lawsuit/ In fact how many Note 7's killed anyone? NONE. How many iPhone's have killed people? LOTS -https://www.reuters.com/article/us-apple-china/apple-to-probe-death-of-chinese-woman-who-used-iphone-when-it-was-charging-idUSBRE96E08P20130715 In fact this female was not the only person ever killed by an iPhone. Last I check, Samsung has zero kills from all their phones combined. Please get new material.

Im pretty sure that if android fans with older OS sued google for not giving updates and not supporting cheap junks google will be in chaos.

Older Android phones don't need updates. I can go and get a 5 year old Android right now, and there are things it can do that still iPhone to this day can't do. The galaxy S5 is almost 5 years old. Yet it has a higher resolution display, split-screen apps, floating windows, the keyboard has the numbers row on the same screen, settings for apps is in the apps, has a headphone jack, IP67, better cameras consider the rear is 16MP and takes better low light photos then even today's iPhone, it has HDR recording back then, Apple is only doing that recently, and it has longer battery-life than the XR too, and the battery was 2800MAH 4 years ago and the XR is only 2940...only slightly bigger, 5 years later. 5 years later and the S10 battery is almost 50% larger than that. While Apple's batteries are still small compared to competition. Explain how a phone with a 6.1" display, only has a sub 3000MaH battery, while Samsung phones like the S6 edge has a 3500Mah battery on a 5.7" display? Samsung phones with 6.4" display, have 4000Mah batteries or larger, Apple has a phone nearly as big and yet only has 3100Mah battery. Android phones are cheap junks? Really? Compare the S10 to the XS Max bruh. For the same price the S10 blows the doors off the iPhone. In fact the iPhone hasn't even really been a challenge to the Galaxy S since the S4. Since the S4, Apple's iPhone has not taken pictures batter than any galaxy since. In fact several Android phone snow take better pictures, not just Samsung. Here apply the butthurt creme!! You don't have to hate on Android, because you like Apple. And many cheap Android phones are better than phones, that is why they are selling more There are now 3 Android OEM's selling more phones than Apple. Keep on hating Android, while Apple continues to fall to the bottom. I rather have cheap junk than overpriced expensive junk.

No they don't. They just ignore their BS to attack yours. That's all. They are classically hypocritical. I'm sure you know that by now. It's not some dark internet secret.
