I think Apple's lawyers sit around when not in court and just think up sh*t they might can sue about to make more money. Kinda like monkeys throwing poop on the wall and seeing what might stick lol.

Stealing a trademark, then suing the original owner. That is such an Apple move.

Nobody's saying Apple "stole" the iFone trademark. Apple wanting to call it the iPhone after they successfully marketed an iMac and iPod is pretty obvious, no theft required. But Apple claimed iFone stole the name from them back in 2003, as if Apple owns the letter i.

If Apple had done their due diligence in 2007, they would have resolved any such trademark disputes. Unless of course they didn't think the iPhone would be a global success...

I'm saying it. They stole it.

Apple do believe the own the letter i. They think they own all shapes, colors, patterns, patents, copyrights, and trademarks. How else can you explain suing a company that held the trademark years before you? It is an arrogant, power drunk corporation.

Cue Mxy saying that clearly Mexican courts don't believe in justice...

I'm glad that ill never give a dime to that company just on sheer principal. To sue a company two years after you brought out your product and they've had since 2003 is insane. Shame on you, Apple. I hope your sales plummet.

They can only make an impact once they start caring about "Market Share" and "Specs War" and pricing is one of Specs. Thermonuclear strategy can only reveal more and more of shameless and arrogant face of Apple and only fanatics can stand by their attitude if they continue like this.

What makes Apple think that they can sue someone that already existed before they came along!!!!!!! Same old crap with touch screens, square icons, home buttons, and etc. All this crap have long develop and use before I-Crap were even thought of.

To put a patent on a shape since crave man times, REALLY!!!! The court needs to wake up and stop taking money and really think about it. Patent on things like will ruin the future innovations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"the iFone trademark was filed in Mexico in 2003, a full four years before Apple filed to trademark the iPhone. Despite the rather obvious priority issue, Apple decided to sue iFone in 2009 in an attempt to invalidate the company’s name for being too similar to the iPhone. The predictable response was a countersuit by iFone, and the court battles have been swinging in iFone’s favor ever since"

iT iS proof of Apple beiNg so ARROGANT and iGNORANT.

Apple, youre a p¡Ss of a sh¡T!!!

Typical Apple! They copy most ideas from others by patenting them and claiming then as their creation.
As if that isn't dirty enough, they even have the cheek to sue those that they copied from.
Apple is so pathetic and shameful. They can decieve their blind followers but that is all.
Apple's focus is more on suing others than advancing technology. This has nothing to do with protecting IP because most isn't theirs in their first place. They refine others's ideas and claim its theirs. Apple could do that most of those whom Apple copied from didn't patent their ideas because there were mostly generic functions which is meant for everybody's benefit. This is exactly what Apple is trying to do i.e. deprive all of us of the benefits of technology unless we pay them for their grossly overpriced products.
I imagine if Apple had won all those lawsuits, we will only have one smartphone to choose from and it will be very expensive and the low-income aas well as most of those from third world countries would be deprived of the benefits of the smartphone.
Thank you Google and all the manufacturers of Android smartphones for catering to the less priveleged.
