I don't need to reserve judgment. The best Apple can do to justify their patent is to do it differently but not necessarily better. I have been using dual-sim phones exclusively for the past 5 years (Samsung x2, THL, Nubia, Lenovo x2, Jiayu, iNew, Blackview, Asus x2 and Xiaomi. That's 12 different dual-sim phones if you're counting) so I know quite a bit about them. That's called experience and I would consider myself a target customer for Apple. My $300 4GB Zenfone 2 is dual-active and, from the description in the article, does the exact same thing without resorting to some b.s. geekspeak. All dual-active phones do that and that's all they're describing.
