When it so stupid simple even an untrained monkey could use it, then it is hard not to get good satisfaction ratings. Intelligent tech users don't chose iOS. They don't need their hand held just to be able to put in a password.

Was laughing when he said MALWARE? Like really COOK? You guys at Apple should upgrading your hardware and open up the software on iOS.

Throwing that " Android malware" card in front of people, over and over and over... and over again. This announcement just shows how desperate they are. Speaking of how good they are, by throwing some pathetic low punches at Android. How often you see Google executives or some official announcements from Google (or any of Android OEMs) speaking negatively about Apple or iOS, or spending any words on Apple at all? It's quite obvious who's chair is burning and who is desperate to regain percents and percents in a slow decline path. The only thing still keeping this fruit company from downfall is domestic "patriot" market, but sooner or later people will take off binding from their eyes, and start adopting that other, way superior OS.

It's easier to be a gracious winner than a gracious loser.

You mean the Galaxy ad of making iphone users sheep and out of touch and old and not cool? Oh yea that ad that ran over and over and over, the ads that took hundreds of millions to make sure people knew their devices were inferior? No different than them saying, 99% of malware is on droid.

Remember when Apple updated to iOS 7 last year SO MANY crashes after so many installs. I'm surprise and he didn't even bother talking bout that one.

If you say iOS devices, then you have to say Android devices. Google did it with the help of OEMs, but it's still their OS.

Let me ask you this. Did Google sell 1B phones or not?

Semantics. You know full well that iOS is only on Apple devices. Android is on over a billion devices, deal with that. It's like how Apple tried making fun of Windows this afternoon, claiming only 14% of the user base upgraded to Windows 8. Meanwhile, that 14% is larger than the entire Mac user base.

Ok fine, Android Units sold. Google doesn't make the Nexus either btw. It's produced by an OEM. Usually a different one each time. But anyway you look at it though, this isn't a punch at Android. in 2013. 759 million android units sold to Apples 150 million IOS units. In 2014, it's expected to sell 1 billion units of Android. In one year. Not over it's lifetime. But, if you want to actually talk about a device manufacturer, take Samsung for example. The Largest Android OEM. 444 million to 150 million. I'm still not sure why touting these numbers is a punch at android.

Apple iPhones are made in China. Majority of their phones are better built than cheap first grade Gorrila glass and cheap recycled aluminum

I gotta admit... that's a good one! But yeah, it's coming off a little too desperate. Apple is still playing catch up and their doing a pi$$ or job of it, but they do sell a lot of phones. Apple knows it's rather audience and they hit that mark every year.

You don't seem to understand the different needs of both OS's. It's much harder to upgrade Android over the same length iOS can due to the fact that iOS is very sleek and doesn't require the high power that Android demands. I believe with the great new additions (for Apple) in iOS 8 Apple's updates won't reach as far back to older devices due to hardware limitations. Widgets and other services that run in the background like Android has had and Apple is started to get into will bring more Android like update experience. Whether that's good or bad is up to the user.

Ios8 will lag lag lag, like it does on ios7 when motion sensors are on.

Its only on iPhone 4, thats why Apple drop the support for iPhone 4 for iOS 8. At least iPad don't lag and runs smoother than mid-end android.
