If they’d admit it, and fix the problem, I’d be good. I don’t see that happening without lawsuits, unfortunately.

Meets your standards? You mean a bendable 800+ dollars device straight out of the box? If you're okay with that it's just plain stupid but for me I'm expecting prestine condition. Way to go Apple smh.

I've already cancelled my new 2018 iPad plans before this news, but this would've mos def killed them for me. At this point, it's a Craigslist, or OfferUp only buy, and for a very cheap price at that. All that money Apple is charging, and they're coming out the box bent...that's sone bullisht, and Apple is giving a bullisht excuse for the flock to buy.

There are crappy products from every phone OEM. Progress will be made when the apple zealots on here realize that their beloved apple is no better than anything else on the market.

Say what, bitch?! Fix the damn production lines, because Apple users expect premium products and attention to details for the price they pay. And fire this stupid schmuck: if I pay for a straight tablet, I want a straight tablet, I don’t give a f**k about you microns and your sheets of paper.

But is it up to customer's standard?

Would consumers buy the iPad pro if they saw the bend at the start? I don't think so Apple.

Mine didn’t come bent and I really like it and I’m very careful with it, if someone get a bent iPad, then that person should get a replacement, that’s all. But the response to this issue is not well handled by the PR team at Apple, that’s definitely not the correct response to this issue

Well said. They need to stop treating us like we are stupid. Ok, some of us obviously are...

The photograph of a bent unit in the original article looks like more than four (4) sheets of paper.

Really? Then you can keep your bending piece of overpriced garbage. No other brand of table costing even 1/3 the price bends like a cheap piece of garbage Haha. What a joke a d this is suppose to be a premium product? O hope someone files a class action lawsuit to have the garbage banned. Electronics in general are very delicate things. But it should take a considerable amount of force to severely damage them. Unless you left weights or just have strong hands, it should take at least the force of half your body weight to bend something like this. If you can bend this with a force of less than 50lbs, then its garbage. I hope no one buys it.

I guess the new buying process really should mean going to the Apple store, opening up a device, and purchasing only after it passes inspection. Seriously, this is just a warning to buyers to hold off purchasing these products until the item is perfect. Don't think it's not too far into the future that Apple suggest bends are coming from "not holding or using them properly" like they did with the iPhone 6 Plus bend-gate and the attena-gate. We don't need another lawyer-enriching class-action suit or a recall. Just need dust collecting on them while they sit on Apple's shelves.

HP recently replace a laptop I sent in because the touchscreen was cracked. Because they couldn't replace the part, they gave me gift cards to buy a replacement on my own.. When I run my hands over the surface, you can feel some alight impressions in the metal and it's not a huge deal. But it should be bend with serious impressions or bends or dents or creases.

If you guys are still supporting this overpriced crap...I just don't know what.

It's always not Apple fault, they always have a way to make more excuses instead of admit of their mistake.

All I got say is...latest iPad Pro vs Surface Pro 6. Which one is more durable for roughly the same amount of money and both being made of cheap materials. Even though Jerry was able to damage it considerably, the SP6 manage to only have the display pop out the housing, the glass crack, but he couldn't bend it in half, and the display was still working.

So much for that vaunted Apple Quality. Stevie would protest from his grave if he could.

Maybe Apple should release the S version of the iPad Pro with more rigid aluminium frame like 6s back in the 2016.

So let me get this right.... We're paying $800+ for a product that bends like the iPhone 6. I mean didn't they learn from that catastrophic episode?

They even have bent ones on display in the Apple store. The curve is very noticeable.

They decrease battery life over time, they sell bent tablets and yet there are still fans who pay $$$$$ for the istuff. Einstein once said: Two things are endless in our life. The first one is the universe and the second one is humans' stupidity. Though, I am not sure for the first one. Yes, isheeps, pay $$$$$ for these low quality fruit products. Good boys!

It's OK, Apple fans are used to substandard devices for premium prices. You just have to look at Macbooks.
