The two weakest structural points are aligned across from eachother a micriphone on one side and a charging pad on the other, this means with even with very minor pressure it just immediately gives way, this is a serious design flaw and they should just admit to its flaw, heres a video showing the very obvious design flaw: it starts at 6:25 Alan i think you should add this to your article as can be seen in this video it has nothing to do with manufacturing technique and everything to do with the alignment of the two very weak structural points on the iPad giving way.

That structural integrity is non-existing.That is plain awful.

Recent history has proven that iFans saying Apples products are worth the excessive prices charged because they are "premium" is incorrect. Apples reaction to problems with their products also busts the myth their customer service is so good.

Apples story will change once a class action lawsuits hit them in their greedy behinds.

I don't doubt for a minute that this meets Apple's standards. It's also why I don't buy their products.

Apple has obviously lowered their standards since Steve passed. So in a way they aren't lieing.

They cant be serious? Would you buy a car with a slight bent wheel?

Well now we know where Apple draws the line on quality standard. This does change my perception of Apple. And that’s unfortunate for them. This is what causes some people to switch to different brand. This is unacceptable for a giant like Apple.

It's what happens when you put a supply chain bean counter (Cook) to run the company. He can't help but to cut corners.

I hate what cook has done to Apple products. But I do like this new downward trend for Apple. Cook is a numbers guy / and if he doesn't produce numbers - he SHOULD be fired. Honestly, I'm ready for some changes. Get rid of story telling Johnny Ive while you're at it - he's a one trick pony. The only reason J. Ive is still on board is because he says "Aluminum" classy.

Glad I bought the 10.5 with 256 gig storage. Yes this is a poor way for Apple to handle this and this could change the perception for sure. I won’t be upgrading any tech for at least 3 years.

Not the Apple of old. This is a sign of a company on the down slide.

If new unused bent iPad is meeting or exceeding Apple "STANDARDS" means, is there anything really called standard wrt quality in their products?

And about iPad pro 10.5" 2017 many complain that after some time a 1in bright spot forms about 2in above home button.

This is laughable. Ridiculously unacceptable. Apples QC has been dropping steadily, and it’s time that Apple fans started to speak with their wallets about things like this to show Apple that they are not going to stand for this.

This Apple fan is certainly going to start speaking. I had planned a new iPad this year...I’m making other plans now.

I’m with you there. I was going to get one of the new iPads as a gift for myself since I have first iPad Pro 9.7 inch. I’ve decided otherwise now.

Bro I'm an Apple product user as well, but not a blind fanboy. The Apple trolls AKA the big 6, and mr. 281 think I hate Apple, but couldn't be more wrong. I simply call it like I see it, have no brand loyalty, and hold the businesses I spend my money with accountable. I'll send emails, speak with managers, or leave a review on Yelp. I credit and criticize appropriately, and don't hold back. Apple (in my eyes), are giving us less for more, and I'm not cool with it. Speak on it, cause I sure as hell will. Now I speak with my wallet more than my keyboard. To me Apple is starting to rest on its laurels again, and that's not cool...except to the Big 6, and mr. 281.

Could not agree with you more, my dude. You've always told it like it is, and have never been a blind fanboy. I'm an iOS user as well, but won't be giving Apple any more of my hard earned cash until they get their QC in check, and start giving us more for the price that they charge. The i6 and all the others defending Apples stance on this need to realize that this is not ok. No OEM should be selling bent products and then say it meets their standards.
