Apple Upgrade Program subscribers get a head start on reserving the Apple iPhone X

Pre-orders for the Apple iPhone X begin next Friday, October 27th. But those who are subscribers to the Apple Upgrade Program are getting a head start when it comes to reserving an unit. Starting on Monday, members of the Upgrade Program can start setting up their paperwork. And beginning this year, members can send to Apple via mail, their old iPhone model being upgraded.

Opening the Apple Store app and filling out the paperwork in advance will allow Upgrade Program members to zip through the pre-order checkout line faster than others on October 27th. But they will still have to wait for Friday morning at 3am EDT to reserve the tenth anniversary model. The problems Apple has had with the production of the phone, combined with the expected heavy demand, could result in shipping dates getting extended into next year. The faster the pre-ordering process takes, the earlier the iPhone X will be delivered. Having the paperwork already completed could provide an advantage for members of the iPhone Upgrade program seeking to upgrade to the iPhone X.
