Future Apple iPhones to use Qualcomm modem chips as settlement is reached

Apple and Qualcomm have settled their legal battles. Apple will make a payment to Qualcomm and both parties have entered into a six-year licensing agreement that will allow Apple to use Qualcomm's modem chips again.

It is so evident that Apple was going to lose this case !! QC will receive a big check from Apple and secured a contract for 6 years!! Well done QC!!

Nope, Intel will never deliver 5G modem, they officially said that they quit 5g modem bussiness today. - Qualcomm accuse Apple for leaking QC's tech to Intel - QC and Apple settle down. - Intel quit 5G shortly after. Coincidence?

As Chinese pressure is increasing in telecom sector, it would not be good for two leading American firms to fight with each other. Limiting current Chinese advantage in the field of 5G is very important to protect American interests. There may be suggestions from Administration. Wise decision for both parties.
