Apple Pay on the web is official, allows you to purchase goods online with a tap of a button

Today at WWDC 2016, Apple announced that soon you will be able to use Apple Pay on the web.

Yes, you will be able to purchase goods by simply tapping a "Pay with Apple Pay" button, which will roll out later this year.

Once you pick up the goods you want to purchase and tap the aforementioned button on the web, a message will pop up on your iPhone.

Apart from informing you about the purchase you're about to make, it will also ask you to authenticate it with Touch ID. Security is first and foremost, obviously!

Additionally, it was announced that Apple Pay is expanding to the Switzerland, France, and Hong Kong later this year.

This makes Apple Pay available in a plethora of countries, namely the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, China, and Singapore.

I understand why people like these options, including samsung pay and such, but Apple is the slowest spreading option of the two, and heck even Samsung Pay hasn't come to many countries yet...... So nice and all..........whenever non 'major' countries get it.

With the addition of making you "seamlessly" reach for your phone to authenticate, instead of having Touch ID or some other form of biometric authentication on the Mac itself...
