Apple CEO Tim Cook marks the third anniversary of Steve Jobs' death with email message to Apple employees

Sunday marks the third anniversary of the passing of Steve Jobs. Apple's co-founder was taken from us way too early, at the age of 56. Regardless of whether you liked him or hated him, the truth is that he touched everyone's lives for the better. Think about the all of the times that you saw a Pixar movie and smiled because your kids did. Steve Jobs was one of the co-founders of Pixar...

Steve Jobs was a unique individual, a real person with great gifts and great flaws. It is good to remember him. I wish Tim Cook would resist invoking the death of Steve Jobs to motivate the troops. That's just lame.

One a$$h worshiping, other even more brutal corrupted a$$h.(both have no clue about tech) And the media make a big event of that. Just because His dirty methods were financially successful. Sad:( The World will long heal the wounds that Jobs's evil "genius" made in the tech industry, and in the morality of the ppl working there.

Steve Jobs created things that might not have otherwise been created. He put a "dent in the universe", as he used to like to say. As the for "evil" you mention, there is little morality in what we call "business". All large companies are "evil" in their own way. I think there are a lot of people who respect what Steve Jobs accomplished, many or most of which do not "worship" him.

After what I saw in 2014, I must say than Tim Cook is a better CEO.

Yes he is. Bit boring maybe (and some a-holes have problem with his sexuality) but I like the direction he is taking Apple. That said, I do respect Jobs as well, great visionary, businessman, presentator and leader.

True that, Jobs was a great person especially doing things "right" in new products. But if it wasn't for Cook, we wouldn't have seen a bigger iPhone or a smaller iPad. That "sticking to the propaganda principles" was removed by Cook. Those principles just weren't relevant anymore considering the fierce competition.

You guys are blind or crazy. A bigger iPhone like iPhone 6 I agree (not with the design because iPhone 5s is a much better looking device ) but iPhone 6 plus is absolutely lame...it's nothing more than a gimmick because it does nothing more than the regular size iPhone 6 and it's also bigger than the Note 4 which truly serves the porpoise of a phablet. In my opinion Steve Jobs was a better leader than Tim Cook.

The simple fact that Tim Cook approved a device like the iPhone 6 plus means that he doesn't know what truly Apple means and all those guys who bought it are are not truly Apple fans. The first thing that I imagined when I saw iPhone 6 plus was Steve Jobs crying. Btw...this is coming from a huge Android fan but who also respected Steve Jobs work.

My "porpoise" is to serve as an envoy of truth, Steve Jobs was no better than Tim Cook just much more conniving and ruthless. But, you are correct about the iPhone 6 Plus; it should have been much much more than the i-6. Honestly, iThink it's a GOR GEOUS device but, it doesn't do anything differently. Basically, if iGot that phone i'D only be able to talk, message and email on it - that's it; iWouldn't be able to download movies (unless iBuy them from iToones), iWouldn't be able to tether my Unlimited Data wirelessly, iWouldn't be able to use Groove IP (or any VOIP app) to make unlimited calls, iWould have transfer everything onto the damn phone by iMporting everything into iToones first only to get error messages saying, "can not be copied to iPhone". iThink Tim is trying but, i'M sure he has that Apple Board knocking down everything he wants to do by saying, " that's not what Steve would've wanted!" - blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blaaaaah!!! That i-6 Plus should've had a damn iPen and should have had better hardware!
