Looks basically like the One with on-screen buttons.
I sincerely hope they did fix their horrible build quality with this one.

Never said such thing, just that the HTC One has one of the worst build quality ever. And the lowest ifixit repairibility score..

I've never experienced any of these issues. My One has been absolutely fantastic, I just wish we offered the One Max, because I'd try to get it on my COU line fo sho.

are you serious?? it is not even close to the original One in terms of beauty. it is definitely NOT the m8. Stupid htc logo placement, ugly rounded corners and upper speaker grills being smaller than the lower ones are clear steps back from its predecessor... so it is FAKEEEEE

No joke, that's a fat chunk of bezel for just a logo.

They just literally stretched One to make this. And does anybody else think that it looks worse than it's older brother?

Looks like a mini to me. Relative size of the logo,
relative width of the top speaker grill.
The two silver parts are differently curved
than the One and the One mini altho they look
allmost of same height. Like arcs of bigger circles,
more iphon-y (i see sueing coming)

What's the point of on screen buttons
when sooo much space on bottom?

It might be there for ergonomic reasons.

You like bending your thumb 180 degrees to press a button?

Looks a bit small and fat, maybe M8 mini? hence the Logo looks a lot bigger than htc one's

is there ever a leaked image that claims it isn't the real deal?

that's not the point
how can you even have a "leaked" image if it claims to be fake? it's a contradiction of terms.
are random graphic designer's dreamed up concept pictures "leaked?"
it's like going through the process of counterfeiting money and then telling the bank it's fake when you go to deposit it

If the specs are on par with the GS5, this will sell really well.

The One's specs were essentially on par with the S4? Did it sell well? Same with the One X & S3. Sounds like a broken record.

I feel like such a downer for saying it, but it's weird when they make the phones assymetric. Not to mention they could have skipped the on-screen buttons if they were going for a notable HTC One-like bezel at the bottom anyway.

You need to stop ruining winning concepts, HTC. The devil is always in the details.

Why to use on-screen buttons if there could be place for normal ones?...
