Android Market website gets minor update
Certainly not as exciting as an update to the Android Market itself (something that will occur with Android 2.2), Google made some minor changes to the Market's web site last night. While the site could have been made more useful, it still doesn't allow users to browse or download apps. And as odd as it is to say this on a Google-owned web page, there is no way to search through the apps. The actual Android Market client is expected to get some changes soon, tied in to the release of Android 2.2. As we reported, one significant change will be an option that will allow your apps to automatically upgrade when a new version is available. With Google I/O coming this week, we should hear more news about the things Google has in store (no pun intended) for the Android Market.
