Android M features that Google borrowed from Apple's iOS

With Google and Apple already having released the developer previews of their upcoming software products, it is, naturally, time to put them against each other and compare them, just like we will do once the final releases are out. Google's I/O 2015 gave us a pretty extensive sneak peek at the features that Android M will introduce later this year; meanwhile, Cupertino showed us some of the additions that will arrive with iOS 9...

All the feature mention are available in Android if you really want them. Android can be customize and Google default UI is actually the minorities. As for Android Pay and Android Wallet. I still do not know the distinction, So in time I may learn the difference. My stand is both Google and Apple should continue to provide good useful feature for their customer without prejudices.

Google Wallet will be for money transfers while Android Pay will be for purchases with your phone.

Google should borrow the Multi Screen from Samsung, App permission user control and theme customization and its store from XiaoMi. Still has a lot of things Google can borrow.

Are you trying to say that Apple's property is America's property and Google doesn't belong to the United States? If Apple is so patriotic and if the others are that bad then why is the iPhone made in China? It's because Apple is a global company and they have the right to get their phones manufactured wherever they want. If you want all the American companies to make everything in the US then you should also sell all your products in the US only. If you want some of your products to go outside the US, some of the jobs will also go with them and the same rules apply for any country in the world.

I have to agree with you on that one. People or I should say, Kids, don't understand is all about money, nothing else. I much as you might hate Apple, it really doesn't matter to Google, because they make millions from iOS.

So the multitasking interface, the toggle panel from the bottom, widget's, split screen, a power saving mode among others I didn't mentioned have been taken from Android or one of the vendors on the Android platform so get a grip on reality

Your use of "SheepDroid" is wrong. The reason we call iFans sheep is because they're all the same, same phone, same homescreen, all herded together in a walled garden by Apple. Sheep doesn't apply to Android where everyone is different, everyone is unique, everyone is free. So try harder, if you're going to troll and insult, at least come up with something good.

SheepDroid is absolutely a relevant derogatory term for an Android fan. You are no different than anyone else, despite the "customization" argument, which is irrelevant when you probably carry a device that millions of people carry. You and select anoraks care about your homescreen configuration and ROM's that void the warranty of your device, where most consider it a negligible feature. You use the same foundation in which you must be tapped into Google's services, much like a user in the Apple ecosystem. Without said services, you would have no Android. The majority of users, might not even get the latest firmware release and you end up being put into a different garden, which only allows you to get Play services updates without the perks of the latest OS iteration, even if your hardware is capable of supporting it. That garden is called the OEM controlled garden. The choice then is to purchase another device to gain the benefits of the new OS and power plant inside of it, whether you needed it or not. You have to be nomadic as an Android user and Apple simply doesn't work that way. Apple is far from a perfect company and it his it's virulent followers, but the same can be said for Android and the OEM's that make them. We are all sheep in the smartphone market.

Now this is what I call an article. Something without subjective items. The last is what I disagree with though.

A better article would have been features Android took from its OEMs and app developers. Regardless: 1. AppOps was out first and gives more controls. Numerous other apps were out too. 7. The Google pay comment is off mark given how long Google wallet was out before Apple pay.
