I've been vocal about battery issues since the final release of Nougat. Doze works great when the phone is stationary, but when it's in motion, though not in use (Like in your pocket) it drains power really fast. This is not something that I had noticed on the betas. Some people who've experienced this issue claim that it can be resolved by reinstalling Nougat... I have yet to try this.

I got 7.0 via beta on my 6P. Experienced zero battery drain. In fact, the new tweaks to doze added substantial life to my device. Had an issue with my bottom speaker and usb-c port, Huawei fixed it and now back on 6.0.1 after factory reset but perhaps that is a good thing based on this article and comments. Needless to say, 6P is still the best. I used my 5X while Huawei did repairs and, although it is nice to have a backup device, that 5X is a turtle compared to the 6P. Love 6P and I patiently hold my breath for HTC-made Pixel. Will not be buying that out of the gate based on HTC issues I have heard.
