I don't know why so many people are having this memory leakage problem. Lollipop (5.0 & 5.0.1) has been smooth as butter on my Nexus 4.

Goto settings, Apps, scroll one screen to right.
Check os usage of ram, it will climb higher an higher.

It doesn't really slow unit down much, but can cause lots of launcher redraws after a long Chrome session etc...its not critical, its a bug that annoys.

My system RAM usage has never reached 300 MB, believe it or not. My RAM usage for applications is usually higher because of apps like facebook, BBM, etc.

Do you leave your phone off when you go to bed? Rebooting the device clears the RAM, and with a day's usage you probably won't notice anything. I leave my Nexus 5 off while I sleep and I only noticed the issue after a rare case where I had the device on for two days straight.

Maybe this problem is more common with the Nexus 5. I haven't rebooted my phone for over a week and still my system RAM usage hasn't exceeded 300MB.
