i know that people like you don't even buy a good android phone and start abusing people who have been closely following both the brands for the past few years...........now all the android users who replied to me were talking about facts and as an android user, i respect their opinion......now i don't want to give desi gaalis to you so......mind your own business

'.almost every person who gets an iphone will never go for any other product and iphone also attracts people from the other platforms...' Wow, someone is not living in our reality....

yea, thats the truth, customers who get the iphone don't like to go back.........and i never said that iphone attracts ALL the people from other platforms......many people don't buy the iphone because its expensive.........but it would prove to be almost free if its resold in select asian and european countries after one year i think you didn't read the entire thing.....i also said that samsung will always have the highest marketshare because it sells cheap phones and windows phones along with the high end flagship models..........i am living in reality, you aren't able to see it in the right way

I tried using an iphone as just a media player (sister-in-law gave me her 3GS when she got a 4). It was horrendous. I couldn't even begin to imagine how anyone could use it daily, let alone as a phone. Thanks to the internet though, I got a few hundred dollars for it.

thats because you belong to a part of android users who like customization as i have already said......but you should have jailbreaked it and get an android ui and live wallpapers on it........anyways, it was not your phone, your sister is the actual owner of the iphone 3gs and she bought the iphone 4, now thats customer satisfaction

I can't decide if my urge to thumb down your comment was based on your crappy point or your complete lack of any grammar, capital letters, or properly used ellipses. No, wait, must be your use of the word "frenemies" in a tech post comment board.

This comment is full of win. I salute you for your unrestrained pwnage.

It caused me physical pain to read that post, so the word "restraint" was temporarily removed from my vocabulary. ;o)

Frenemies is a word that phone arena has used to describe the relationship between apple and Samsung ......... I know what's right and what isn't .... Using the exact english words is not a requirement to reply or comment PA .....that guy sniggly often uses abusive language and he diverts the topic because he knows that he isn't right.......I don't know much about you but you comments indicate that you are a fandroid who is jealous of the most valuable company in the world.......I talk about something only after I use it and compare it .........you are an embarrassment for android users and a person who any accept the truth who doesn't have enough brains to understand that a person who is commenting with long sentences already spends a lot of time on typing so he doesn't look at every single word.......you will remain as you are , a poor and a pathetic fanboy ....... And I am not talking about every fanboy over here, I am talking about those who divert the topic to escape from the truth

Uh what? I think maybe you need to cut back on the hubris, boyo. I've ignored you and your rants up till now. If you'd really like to throw out insults about me to other people without directly addressing me, I'm sure that I'll no longer show you mercy. So what's it going to be? Are you going to kindly apologize, or shall I start adopting a policy of picking everything you say apart?

i don't respect people who don't accept the truth and people who talk about things that they have never used and compared with the other things.......... i believe in telling the truth, i believe in sharing my experiences...... i know that you want to argue with me........and i know that you can't control yourself now if dragonstkdgirl argues with me, then i will accept that he/she isn't better than you now i won't apologize to you because a person doesn't need to apologize for telling the truth....... i am not interested in arguing with you either because you remind me of Mark twain's quote.... "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience" now thats the reason why i won't reply to you any more..........you may prove that sentence by replying to me but i will just ignore u....

There's another excellent Mark Twain quote, or at least one attributed to him: It goes: "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt." I was fine with you saying I use abusive language and whatnot. That's true. However, accusing me of essentially being wrong all the time, not "accepting the truth," is quite frankly bulls**t. Oh well. You made your bed. Now you'll have to die in it. Oh, and one more thing. I don't care if you never respond again. It'll just be fun to point out what a goddamn moron you are for everyone else's benefit so they can all point and laugh at you while in front of their computer monitors. Have fun! :D

maybe that guy is right, you can't control yourself...........you proved that you are a fool......i can't type long comments like that guy but.....he is right........you replied lolzzzz

Using that logic, I can say that the fact that you replied to me makes you a pile of fossilized elephant poo. And you type exactly like he does. Do you really think you're fooling anyone?

no pleeeeease, i am not that guy, i was just trying to type like him, if u want you reply to him, don't come to me, i just came to this page and saw those long comments, i am not interested in tech as much and you and that guy, so when i saw mark twain's quote, i was attracted to it and i saw your reply so i just couldn't stop laughing, so i commented you just proved his words so i laughed, i am sorry if that made you angry, i don't have anything against you :-)

Well, I'm always happy to give someone a good chuckle. But I didn't prove anything that he said. I restrained myself plenty throughout the last couple of weeks as he's commented on stuff. Hell, I ignored him for the most part today. Wasn't until he started insulting me that I decided to drop on him. Anyway, have fun reading the comments sections. They're a scream.

but that was wrong to reply after what he said......and he did a good thing by not replying to you, i think he will keep his word by not replying to you or to "dragonstkdgirl" you should have understood that i wasn't the same guy but i am happy that those words "pile of fossilized elephant poo" aren't for anyone anyways, i hope that i will have a lot fun reading the comment sections......

Damn guys I take a day off from the tech sites and come back to find half a dozen comments related to what I posted. Now I feel all special smh. Speaking as one of the very few and far between females with a computer science degree, and one with a VERY extensive background in a lot of areas of tech, I merely pick my phones based on their capabilities, not on their logo. If I want a bigger screen and the best build quality, as well as the fastest internet.... well. I'd pick my Maxx over iPhone anyday. If Apple made a sturdier phone with newer tech and bigger screen and less restrictive app market, then I will reevaluate. But you wouldn't go to Best Buy and buy an old rotary phone instead of a wireless handset, would you? Tech becomes outdated very fast, no point taking a step back instead of forward.

Continued kickassery. Once again I salute you. And I still want the Maxx.

The Maxx is a beast. I have quickly come to realize that 3300mAh is not enough for me, however. Due to my constant text/facebook/email/talk/wifi hotspot/photo/video streaming/pandora usage, I run through this puppy's battery daily. .......5600mAh battery, anyone? This also has resulted in 6GB of data usage in a week, so not only will Verizon probably hate my account by the end of my bill cycle, it has made me more convinced they will have to pry my grandfathered unlimited plan from my cold, dead hands.

A generally balanced, reasoned post. Hard to dispute what's written about the iPhone, and there's no commentary trashing Samsung's high-end models. The mountain of down-thumbs is inexplicable. Unless the equally inexplicable absence of English sentence structure just gave a ton of people headaches.

Customer satisfaction? You mean locked to their device if they want to keep the hundreds if not thousands in Apps and Music they purchased. Go android freedom and go GSIII!!

yup. such is true. Samsung's YoY sales in the US skyrocketed while Apple's plummeted

There will always be people hold on to things they know well or have invested too much in. But smart people will choose more value for money, and that is Android.
