Alltel launches the GLIMMER

Alltel launches the GLIMMER
Starting March 13 (tomorrow), Alltel Wireless will start offering the LG GLIMMER which was officially announced yesterday by LG. The price at which the new device will be available is $250, after a $100 mail-in rebate and a 2-year agreement. The phone is a combination of a nice slider design, reminding of the Shine,  2.8” touch display and the cool interface found in the Prada and Viewty.

you may want to do a little more reading and actually get some facts to back up your slander buddy. IF Sony Ericsson was so cool and so innovative in touch screens why dont they have more of them? plus in case you didnt notice Samsung, Motorola, and Nokia all control more market share and units sold last year, hence they probably make a better more popular and quality product. And putting a stupid comment like yours slamming everthing but Sony Ericsson just makes you look like and idiot.

I have seen the Glimmer and it's an amazing device. I really respect Alltel's services and they have excellent customer service. Although my carrier is Verizon, I am rather disappointed with them since they can't come out with updated technology. The service is great but their technology is crap. I really wished I lived outside of NYC in the mid-west somewhere. I would be an Alltel customer so fast. All the best Alltel and LG. You both produce excellent products. And a little note to that punk T-Huff or whatever his damn name is. I wanna let you know that you are a retarded, blind, idiotic, no good SOB who doesn't know squat about being a consumer. Crawl back into your rock where you came from and play with your little Sony Ericsson phone.

T-HUFF is pretty retarded, but right - Sony Ericsson are the best.

ok. you want altell. get em. They are a small company. They dont have coverage like Verizon. Were the biggest and the best! We have service where other carriers will never have it. We as a company invest over One billion dollars alone in a year for your towers alone. And oh yeah, Altel works off of our towers too. Gotta love the little guy! oh and by the way, we do have the best and most innovative phones. So bowdown and shut the **** up!

Its amazing how you chose to call everyone idiots and point out insignificant facts about alltel when you have no idea...... 1st and foremost please learn your company and know what they are doing to provide you service....since its obvious that you dont know, Verizon does in fact PAY alltel over $6 billion to use our towers because they dont have their own everywhere like yo seem to think. That's the main reason they can try to say they have the largest network and most coverage. 2nd of all...with me being an alltel ccustomer...I have been everyone from the big cities to the small towns......alltel is small but has the best coverage to me. My sister has verizon and when we are back home, even though Verizon using alltel towers, her service is crappy while mine is fine. BTW, we are from that small company alltel state: Arkansas!!!! Of course I dont have issues anywhere using alltel or verizon towers....if there is coverage, I have great service!!!! When altell has a dead zone, you better know that verizon is dead as well. 3rdly, I do wish that alltel had a bigger selections of phone but I have been with them this long so service outways that by a long shot. Last but not least...I am well aware of the buyout of alltel by verizon....hopefully this merge will not cause me to lose my mind with verizon because alltel plans were better which is probably one reason why they were in so much debt beause believe me I get my money's worth. Try 4 lines with unlimited access to everything plus you know we have famiily cirlce with bonus stuff because we have been a customer for so long. I talk on one phone alone about 10,000 minutes a month (multiply that times 4 to even begin to estimate our usage), so while you guys everywhere else count minutes..I do what I want because I am with altell. BTW...the minute usage should show that the drop calls are few and in between, try about 3 per line per month...wow! Hopefully all this uncalled for discussion of phones and which is best will end....get your service up and then holla back at me about what type of phone is best!!!! What's the use of a cool phone if you have alottttt of areas where you dont have coverage! Every phone has it bugs....there will always be disagreement about the best, thats why I dont have one!

actually Verizon invests 6.5 billion dollars in our network per year. you work for verizon and you dont even have your facts straight. there is no doubt, and its been proven year after year that we have teh best network. i dont care how cool teh phone is...whats the point of having it if you're not getting a signal
