Alleged HTC One (M9) and M9 Plus renders leaked: sleeker design, large front camera, fingerprint scanner included

We’re seeing a device with a design eerily similar to that of the HTC Desire EYE, with a very prominent front-facing camera....

If its as pictured, consider at least one sold!

Same here, the one on the left with the specs that is on par with all the others and I'm sold. Especially if they have sd card support as well.

They really need not to launch something like that, it would be the weirdest (not in a good way) phone this year.

How is this the "weirdest" phone? There is nothing weird or unconventional about it. If anything, this is EXACTLY what they need release this year to maintain the positive momentum from their One line of phones. This is almost a perfect phone.

I will say this: As much as I hate Apple and iOS, the iPhone6 is not a bad looking device. So if HTC brings something similar, with a decent camera and a 5.X" screen, it has very good chances of become my next handset!

Hope the M9 Plus' fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back instead of on the front. Bring it on!

1. Full metal body like m8. 2. Black bar is gone. 3. 20mp cam on the back, instead of 4mp. 4. FF cam - 13mp, even better than 5mp old one. 5. Boomsound is still there. Where to pay?

Front is 4ultrapixel which is great for low light selfies

Silly that when Z2 is out with front facing stereo speakers, HTC'S Boomsound are offset with the edges. Then when Z3's out with offset speakers, now we see M9's edgy speakers like in the Z2. Design-wise, it is very good for trimming down the phone's top and bottom bezels.

The bezels are huge. Almost the same size as the iPhone.

If this is legit, the camera is good, and the new version Sense follows Material Design to a T, I'm sold.

Seriously HTC could do a reality show leading up to the reveal with all these renders of the highly anticipated M9. As long as the camera is above average this thing is already a winner in my book.

That is some crappy suck t c design philosophy. You either think no physical button works or you don't. You can't flip flop around like a fish and expect people to trust your design philisophy if you don't even trust your design philosophy yourself....

Um, so a OEM can't cover two angles of product development? Wtf?? How does any other manage it then, Samsung, Apple, WP, they all make differing hardwares. Apple may only make a bigger phone, but its different enough that accessories don't fit it like cases, the logistics of it all!! HTC designs are solid, delivery an availability is another, but that is not your beef here. Choices can be overwhelming for some, other OEM must be a nightmare for you?
