Alcatel Cameo X is a mid-range smartphone for AT&T

Alcatel is about to unleash yet another Android smartphone in the United States, the Cameo X. Although it looks like a mid-range device, the fact that it will be picked up by a major carrier will most likely boost its sales.

The unannounced Alcatel Cameo X will soon make its debut at AT&T, but aside from a press render of the smartphone, we don't have any info on price and availability. In fact, there aren't any details about Cameo X's specs, so your guess is as good as ours.

Since this is a mid-range Android smartphone it's likely to come with a 5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution. A primary camera is visible on the back side, alongside a small LED flash. No fingerprint sensor on the back, but there's a speaker near the bottom.

The phone doesn't feature a physical home button, so it's unlikely the Cameo X will include a fingerprint sensor at all. The Alcatel and AT&T logos are stamped on the battery cover, which confirms the US carrier will indeed sell the smartphone.
