Aging Samsung Epix is now finally in with Windows Mobile 6.5
Remember how Windows Mobile 6.5 dominated a good chunk of news back last fall? Well, the already regarded aging Samsung Epix for AT&T was mentioned to receive the update by February, but unfortunately it quickly came and went without any sighting. Fast forward to now and those still sporting the portrait QWERTY smartphone are now finally getting in with an official update for Windows Mobile 6.5. Although there have been unofficial ROMs floating around, this release marks a surprising move for Samsung – especially when you think about how the Samsung Behold II will be shut out from Android 2.1. Now the only thing else that Epix owners can dream about is another update for Windows Mobile 6.5.3 – although it could be gathered as a long shot, you just never know what might happen to this lucky handset.
