Adobe Lightroom gets new features to offer better picture editing on your phone
If you're using an Android phone as your daily driver, Lightroom has brought some nifty features for you. For starters, App Shortcuts are now available to everyone with devices powered by Android Nougat and later devices, which will allow users to tap and hold on the app icon to quickly launch the app into popular modes.
- Resolved an issue that prevented some Huawei customers from importing images.
- Resolved an issue that caused a crash for some Pixel 2 customers on export.
- Resolved a problem that prevented some Samsung customers from installing the previous version.
More importantly, both Android and iOS apps now include a reworked Auto mode, which is supposed to create better results. The new Auto mode uses Adobe's AI (artificial intelligence) called Adobe Sensei, as well as machine learning platform.
Adobe Lightroom is available for free via App Store and Google Play Store, but you'll have to pay for the premium features if you want to use them.
