It has been less than two years since the rugged Samsung Rugby
pounded its way onto AT&T's lineup, but now there would seem to be an apparent successor in the works. Taking a quick glance on AT&T's Facebook reveals that “the Samsung Rugby II is a next-gen rugged phone that can withstand dust, vibration, shock, and more.” Although there were sparse information and details regarding the handset currently, it'll most likely be made known later on, but it would probably stick to some of the strengths seen with its predecessor. So far it looks like it'll become available starting on June 6th for $129.99 with a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in-rebate. Still, those who call AT&T their carrier of choice can look forward to the knowledge that a Mil-Spec handset will be coming some time down the road.
