AT&T will bring MMS to iPhone customers on September 25
At last, AT&T has let us know exactly when it is going to roll out its much-desired MMS service for the iPhone. So, here it is: starting September 25, Apple iPhone 3GS and 3G users will finally be able to send and receive multimedia messages! The new feature will become available via software update. Although it was rumored earlier that MMS support will come along with iPhone OS 3.1, there isn’t an official word by AT&T about that for now. So, um… congrats!

I disagree... Hey come buy our phone that doesn't support MMS!!! I bet they missed out on some new customers, because they didn't have the feature. I think this was a system/compatibility issue similar to the one that Alltel faced with the Blackberry Pearl.

Yay! The iPhone has MMS capabilities! Anyone care to take a stab at why it would take a 3rd generation version of the almighty phone to allow something that's been available for years?

ATT isn't the worst network why take the best phone and put it on the worse network that don't make sense especially with a big company like apple.
