AT&T pushes out Android 8.0 Oreo to the Galaxy S8 Active
Samsung may have already done updating the Galaxy S8 to the latest version of Android, but the South Korean company has a handful of other devices waiting to receive the Oreo update. The Galaxy Note 8 is getting the update in the United States as well, but it will be some time until everyone gets it.

Surprisingly, one other Samsung smartphone is now eligible for Android 8.0 Oreo, the Galaxy S8 Active. The rugged version of last year's flagship is now receiving the update at AT&T, some users reported over the weekend.

The update weighs in at 1.2GB and includes the March security patch. We have yet to learn what other changes the update includes besides the new features and improvements that Android 8.0 Oreo brings into the mix.

Since AT&T has already kicked off the roll-out of Galaxy S8 Active Android 8.0 Ore, we're expecting Sprint and T-Mobile to do the same in the not so distant future. We're report once the update is available for other carrier-bound Galaxy S8 Active units, so stay tuned.
