AT&T goes after Verizon with its very own iPhone XS BOGO-type deal
The big day has arrived for Apple fans unwilling to settle for a more “affordable” iPhone XR with a single rear-facing camera, lower screen resolution, or inferior LCD panel technology. Or maybe you just don’t like to wait.

Either way, you can now hit up the online Apple Store to pre-order your early copy of the iPhone XS or XS Max, or head over to carriers, large and small, for introductory deals and discounts.

AT&T obviously couldn’t let Verizon hog the spotlight, kicking off its own pre-orders earlier today with a pretty much identical $700 off promo. We’re not talking about 700 bucks actually knocked off the list prices of the iPhone XS and XS Max, but rather the usual BOGO-type arrangement.

Namely, you can buy one iPhone XS or XS Max from AT&T and get one iPhone 8 or 8 Plus with 64GB storage for free after monthly credits. Or you can shave the aforementioned $700 off the regular prices of a 256GB iPhone 8, 256GB 8 Plus, X, XS, or XS Max.

Across the board, you’ll need a new service line, two separate AT&T Next agreements, and a minimum combined $65 monthly service rate (after discount), with activation/upgrade fees and “other” terms likely to apply.

If you don’t have a problem jumping through all these hoops, you’ll start seeing your bill credits applied monthly in equal amounts within three billing cycles. We’re talking a cool $23.33 service discount every month for two and a half years. That’s not too shabby for a couple of freshly released iPhone powerhouses.
