AT&T Wireless to launch OGO

Recent FCC filing reveils AT&T wireless intention to introduce a new messaging device desiged for E-mailing, SMS chats and Instant messaging. The Ogo lacks phone capabilities but supports Bluetooth PGM functionality which will allow it to connect to other Bluetooth PMG enabled gadgets such as cameras, watches or phones. The Ogo service will cost $17.99 a month for one IM/e-mail channel, with a surcharge of $3 for every additional (AOL, MSN and Yahoo are supported). The price for existing customers will be $14.99. The scheduled availability date and price of the device are still unknown.
