AT&T Wireless to launch 3G services early next week

According to a Reuters report, AT&T Wireless will launch next generation 3G services early next week. According to sources, the cities of San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix and Detroit will offer the high speed data. In test trials, the WCDMA 3G technology had reached between 200 to 300 kbps. Motorola A845 (on the picture), Nokia phone and a data card will be the first devices offered from AT&T that support the new technology. The tentative prices for the service are $25 for unlimited use for consumers, and $80 for business customers.
