Take a jacket made up of smartphones, a talented young dancer (Ian Eastwood, who has appeared on NBC's "World of Dance"), and a great idea from the mind of OK GO's Damian Kulash. Mix up these ingredients and you get a new commercial for the Asus ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5z. The  ZenFone 5 series is made up of the ZenFone 5, the ZenFone 5Q (aka ZenFone Lite in some markets) and the ZenFone 5z, which were all introduced at MWC this past February.

We don't know when or if the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5z will be offered in the states. However, just the other day we told you that Amazon U.S. is now taking pre-orders for the lowest priced model of the three, the ZenFone 5Q. The phone will ship in July, and is the one version of the series that is not notchy. The ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5z both sport notches and look the same from the outside. One major difference between the pair is that the ZenFone 5z carries a Snapdragon 845 mobile platform compared to the Snapdragon 636 that runs the ZenFone 5.

The ZenFone 5 series employs AI to turn users into better photographers. AI Boost helps the phones allocate processing where it is needed most, improving performance in some tasks such as gaming.
