After previously announcing plans for an event in India on the same day, HMD Global has now sent out invites to a separate event happening in Milan, Italy on June 6th. The company hasn’t specified its plans, but all rumors point towards the global debut of two important phones – the Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 6.2.

As their names indicate, the devices will succeed last year’s Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 6.1 respectively and, as such, will represent the latest mid-range offerings from the brand. Unfortunately for us, very little is known about the Nokia 5.2 at this stage. However, previous leaks about the Nokia 6.2 do give us a pretty good idea of what will be on offer.

Much like the China-only Nokia X71 that was announced last month, the Nokia 6.2 is expected to arrive equipped with a punch hole display paired with minimal bezels and a small chin. According to leaked details, though, the diagonal of the display will shrink slightly to 6.2-inches, coincidentally matching the name of the phone.

Over on the rear, the Nokia 6.2 is set to adopt the brand’s usual glass build and vertical camera setup. In this particular case, two individual sensors paired with an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner are rumored.

Rounding out the smartphone’s package will apparently be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 paired with 4GB of RAM and stock Android 9 Pie straight out of the box. Ultimately, pricing remains to be seen, but the internal details match those of the Motorola Moto G7, one of the best budget devices around.
