Dude, you calm down. You sounded like you were shilling for Samsung while putting BlackBerry down. MG's point is valid. If YOU don't like it, so what? Everyone has different tastes. Stop trying to force yours on others or get at others because their tastes are different from your own.

While it's a nice little gesture from blackberry, I think it just shows you how overpriced the accessories and the Priv are in the first place and that goes for any first party OEM accessory. Right now Google has a sale on the Nexus 6P gold 64GB for $499 and the designer editions of the Moto X Pure Edition 32GB are $399. Both are universally unlocked for ANY US carrier both CDMA and GSM.

So by BlackBerry offering incentives to buy the Priv, LIKE EVERY OTHER OEM DOES FOR THEIR DEVICES, they are proving how "overpriced the Priv and it's accessories" are? And other OEM'S that do the same also have overpriced products? You'd best be including Apple at the very top of that overpriced list of yours. But knowing you, you'll come up with an excuse for Apple. You come on EVERY BlackBerry Priv related article that's been posted recently and complain about its price, trying to force your views and opinions on everyone. Do you really think that those interested in buying a Priv care what the Nexus and MXP cost? Do you really think they care that both of those devices are universally unlocked when you can just get the CDMA version of the Priv, if you so choose? You're acting like BlackBerry didn't make a CDMA version at all, and you look like a complete fool constantly complaining about a device that you have NO INTENTION OF BUYING, you've even admitted that yourself.

The sad part is when they complain about PRIV, believing their complaints must be the rule and others have to avoid buying the phone of their choice!

Exactly! Mxy always complains about when someone else has an opinion, saying that they're shoving their views down people's throat, but look what he's doing, and on a constant basis at that, about a device he has no intention on buying.

25. Mxyzptlk unregistered

I never said my complaints must be the rule. It's my opinion that the Priv is overpriced and expensive compared to other flagship devices that are more capable. For me on the Android side, I think the MXPE and the Nexus 6P offer a couple more benefits and value that the Priv doesn't. That's just my opinion. Unlike Meanest, I'm not shoving my point in everyone's face and argue them down if I disagree.

You just did shove your opinion in everyone's face. And you've been doing so on almost every Priv related article.

45. Mxyzptlk unregistered

Like you can talk. You're like a mad hornet whenever someone says one thing wrong about Blackberry.

I can talk. And you're as sad little troll that spews your BS on every BlackBerry article about the Priv all the while shoving your uninformed opinion in people's faces.

26. Mxyzptlk unregistered

First of all, Blackberry is not the first OEM I've called out on overpriced accessories. I've called Google out before on their overpriced Nexus cases on the Google Store. Of course, you would be the one to blow a fuse. You always do when you don't get your way. It's an OPEN FORUM. It means I can comment on articles just like you can so get over it. As I said before, if the Priv was UNIVERSALLY unlocked, I would consider it. Since it isn't at $700 when those devices mentioned are, I see no reason to consider it. Again that is my OPINION. I never said anything about Blackberry not making a CDMA version. Dry those salty tears and get over it.

Yes, you call out the OEM's that you TROLL. How come you don't call out Apple for their overpriced accessories and overpriced phones? Oh, that's right, because you don't troll Apple. You only troll BlackBerry/Google/Samsung/LG/Android. Of course you'd be the one to constantly blow a fuse about Priv pricing. You always do when you don't agree with something. You're correct, it is an OPEN FORUM, which means that I can respond to anyone's comment I choose, just like you, so get over it. You'd NEVER consider a Priv, so cut the BS. You even said that you wouldn't buy one on many occasions. It doesn't have to be universally unlocked if it has a CDMA version, GSM unlocked is just fine. Get over yourself and the fact that the Priv is GSM unlocked only. As long as there is a CDMA version, it's fine. I've not once seen you complain about other devices not being universally unlocked, so you're just trolling BlackBerry, as usual. I state my OPINION as well. But you always seem to have a problem with it since I don't agree with yours. Not that I care. The same way you say you're free to state yours, I'm free to state mine. The same way you can respond to others in an open forum, so can I. Now cut your BS hypocrisy and hop off my sack, already.

46. Mxyzptlk unregistered

And when have you called out Blackberry besides that one small time Chen decided to ask for legislation again app developers who didn't develop for Blackberry? You're so full of crap it's a wonder your teeth don't stain from all of it. How am I just trolling Blackberry? Again, may I remind you that Blackberry chose to release the Priv around the same time the 6S, MXPE, and the Nexus 6P/5X were released, all of those being universally unlocked devices. Get over it, it's a trend that all OEMs should follow. See, I'm just voicing my opinion and you're having a hissy fit just because I disagree with the Priv's pricing and its lack of features and value that the devices I listed have. Get over it. I don't care if you state your opinion. You just need to stop whining and crying whenever someone else voices theirs and you just happen to disagree with it. Get over it. Shut up about your sack dude. Again no one wants to hear about that.

I've called them out for lack of marketing several times, even on one of the latest articles about BlackBerry on this site. Guess you're the one that's full of sh!t here, as you STILL haven't called out Apple on their overpriced products. You're trolling BlackBerry because you comment negatively on EVERY Priv related article about the price, about it not being universally unlocked, blah blah blah, all the while having ZERO intentions on buying it or any other BlackBerry device. We get that you don't like BlackBerry, but no one wants to be subjected to your negative comments all the time, all the while you're acting like they must be taken as gospel. I'm stating my opinion as well, but here you are always claiming that I'm shoving it in people's faces because I don't agree with them. Grow up. Everyone isn't always going to agree. And as I recall, YOU'RE the one that attacked me for having an opinion when you responded to my comment #5, so it's YOU that's throwing the hissy fit here. And the Priv has as many features as any Nexus device, and FAR MORE features than the limited-in-and-locked-features-iPhone. And the Priv also offers value, especially where security and privacy is concerned, but someone with your minuscule intellect just wouldn't understand that. Of course you care about me stating my opinion, that's why you responded to my comment FIRST. And me stating my opinion is whining, but you WHINING on almost every Priv related article about its price is stating an opinion? You're a f-ing hypocrite. Mine is an opinion, and an informed one at that. Get over the fact that I have one that's different from yours, and have every right to disagree with someone in a PUBLIC FORUM. If you'd GET OFF my sack, I wouldn't have to keep talking about you being on it. So HOP OFF it, Michelle.

60. Mxyzptlk unregistered

Lol calling Apple overpriced yet the Priv is $700 still. At least with the iphone I can resell it and still get a good price for it. You're such a hypocrite. You call Apple out for price but you refuse to do it for BlackBerry. Again you idiot I can get the 6S and take it to any carrier. You are so dense that you don't understand how significant that is. Yes the Priv has security. Unlike you taking potshots at Apple I can give credit to the Priv. It does security better than most phones even though it costs more than most phones. You don't understand what an opinion is because you're a blackberry lackey. Grow up and stop whining.

And you claim that I'm "whining and crying" whenever someone else voices their opinion that I disagree with, but here your hypocritical @$$ is doing the same thing you claim I'm doing to someone who had an unfavorable (to you) comment about the iPhone: http://www.phonearena.com/news/BlackBerry-senior-director-says-the-future-is-really-Android_id77860/comments There you are with comment #36 attacking someone. Don't judge, unless you're prepared to be judged. But of course, you'll say you didn't attack him, all the while proving that you're a lying hypocrite.

59. Mxyzptlk unregistered

Yeah so what? I did the same thing you're doing right now you salty hypocrite. You're just as guilty of attacking people as I am. Don't act like you aren't.

63. meanestgenius

Of course you'd say "so what". That's because you can't lie your way out of it since I provided evidence. You're a trolling buffoon that attacks anyone that says anything negative about Apple.

67. Mxyzptlk unregistered

I think you mistake me for yourself like how you lied about not having other aliases even though you admitted it yourself on a blackberry blog.

73. meanestgenius

Posts: 22049; Member since: May 28, 2014

But you have lied about having aliases (your doppelgänger account in order to garner sympathy), and you even created a parody account of me because you literally want to be me. That's sick. And you STILL try and lie your way out of things until I provide evidence (which I normally do), like when you lied and tried to say that I supported Chen on the "app neutrality" issue and I provided the link that proved you to be the lying troll that you are.

77. Mxyzptlk unregistered

Lol are you still accusing me of being your doppelganger? You wish. You and I both know you're the one who is responsible for both doppelganger accounts. You may have worded it that you didn't support Chen, but in hindsight you did. Since you want to bring up something that I already admitted to making a mistake. It's just like when you regurgitated the same comment I made in the article about BBM being more popular than most Android messaging apps.

81. meanestgenius

Posts: 22049; Member since: May 28, 2014

No need to accuse you of what we both know you already are. And no, I didn't support Chen then on app neutrality, and I don't support him now on it. You're just saying that because I proved you to be the lying troll that you are when you said I supported him on that. You only "admitted" you were wrong because the facts were staring you right in the face when I posted the link. It's also like when I proved you to be a liar when you tried to troll BlackBerry and say Chen's wife uses an iPhone, when in fact, she didn't.

85. Mxyzptlk unregistered

Ok meanergenius. We all know you're the alpha geek here, as said so by yourself. What the f-? I don't recall anything about Chen's wife using an iPhone. Of course when I asked you to provide proof on something, you refused and spent many comments bs around. Your comment about Chen's net neutrality says one thing, but your actions says another. You do support Chen and you're just bsing when you say you don't.

89. meanestgenius

Posts: 22049; Member since: May 28, 2014

Ok Mxy, we all know you have multiple accounts here, such as my faux account and your own doppelgänger account. Of course you would say that you don't recall it. But don't worry, I'm gonna provide the link and make yoy look like an @$$ once again. And I already proved you to be the lying dirtbag that you are with the whole "app neutrality" thing. Need me to embarrass you further? And post a link to PROVE that I'm "bsing" around and really support Chen on app neutrality. I'll wait....

And all three of the devices you mentioned, you know nothing about. You don't own any of them not have you ever used or even sampled any of them. So why on Earth would anyone pay any mind to an uninformed troll like you? It's also hilarious how you flip flop between Android and iOS.

At most I'd pay $25 for both of those accessories.
