4.7'' and 5.5'' iPhone 6 rumor round-up: design, specs, price, and release date

Ditto... Good to finally see an iPhone change the science of the "perfect" screen size. Larger screened devices appeal to me and my usage... but even 4.7" may be small. Hoping the rumors of an iPhablet is true. And of course, as you said iOS 8 is a step forward (or two.)

Don't expect to much from iOS 8. Apple does hardware and software on alternate years. It goes major refresh of software one year and then the next a major hardware change. Hence 5S not changing hardware but getting iOS7. They put all their resources into one or the other each year.

The increased prices for the new iPhones showcase the changing demographics of iPhone models: 3.5" iPhone -> iDreamOfRich 4" iPhone -> iPretendRich 4.7" iPhone -> iRich 5.5" iPhone -> iRicher iOS 8 - "Now with even more NSA inside, to keep your riches safe. And extra sparkly icons!"

apple appeals, it's exclusive os (not necessarily best), luxurious?, neccesarily high price (yeah to convice snob to buy), you know it.

Yet almost every person I know who owns an iPhone (50 people or so), isn't rich, don't consider them rich, nor pretend to be rich. They do want to be rich, but don't we all :)

HTC one is pretty but you are a moron thinking this is the final design all these renders and dummy leaks are made from the schematics , so we don't really know about the materials or colour schemes (two-tone ) .

Yup, your opinion about Apple is very important, relevant, and appreciated. As for me, I'm glad an American company is doing well. http://www.macrumors.com/2014/05/05/aapl-600-stock-price/

i don't like any phones bigger then 5 inch what's your point ? you're not the only consumer in the market !

Posts: 2315; Member since: Jul 30, 2011

And two years ago uDidn't like any phones larger than the iMagical 3.5" (inches); so, what's [your] point. In another two years you will be writing that 6 inches is what you can handle; iVacillation is the mother of 'Revolutionary' iNvention and, ultimately, 'the next big thing' will have you screaming for more than 5 tiny inches.

how do you even know what i liked two years ago lol you're so blind and fanatic i've never owned an iphone my 1st touch phone was 4 inches and no i got it in 2011 before you say it was an iphone 5 and i don't believe that apple invented everything or anything for that matter my point is different consumers in the market like different things and you're not the only one so take your head out of your ass and look around you're not the only one in the consumer market and proof of that is that apple is still second with their tiny phones in another two years phones will have changed so much who know what i will be writing about your argument is just so stupid !

i♥ the graphics; looks like you guys just took an iPhone 5S and scaled it in Photoshop (sorry, iPhotoshop) 125% and 150%, respectively. Keep up the awesome work.

Steve Jobs was a huge fan of P.T. Barnum and his 'There's a sucker born every minute' moniker...

It looks that superseded, antiquated relic, the Galaxy S4. But hold on a minute.. The screen seems likely to have a lower pixel density, it's got bigger bezels and the widgets don't work properly. I loved the comment above about the iphone 5 being a power house beast, made me smile ;)

I'm interested in an iPhone with a larger screen but I hope that's not the actual design. I'm definitely not digging that tiling grout look for the antennas, it's much too thick compared to my M8's antenna lines. It should also be thicker than 7mm to house a larger battery and to give a better grip.

I have both a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a iPhone 5c. Even though the Samsung is technically superior and I love its big beautiful screen, the 5c is just as fast (and sometimes faster) at most tasks, has a much more enjoyable OS, and seems to take better pictures......My 2 cents.

The antenna lines detract from the look of the phone. Hopefully, they can blend it in with the same color as the background of the case.

Yes, but from what are they afraid ? From a phone ? Strange... I never got a panic fear from a phone.
