Its not remotely the same.

In fairness, you can Google all the features and capabilities of any phone, and facts will show that vs the Galaxy S and iPhone, each S got more features and capabilities on each new model what the iPhome got.

What did the iPhone 3GS get over thr 3G, how about the 4 vs 4S? How about all the 5's and 6's?

Now compare to each Galaxy S.

Tye first iPhone didnt even have the abikity to install apps, record video and even simple thibgs like copy paste, which all smartphomes had before it.

Please just be fair. Its not the same.

The iPhone 4S only real difference was Siri.

The iPhone 6's and 7 are identical other than the extra camera and yws Apple added a GB of ram and 2 cores...big deal.

But the difference in the S7 vs the S8 is mucj bigger list vs the iPhone 6S and 7.

This is what happens when you out useless garbage in a phone.

Likely also why Samsung didnt jump on Force Touch. Its pointless considering what it costs to implement

You are ao stupid.

Fact - the original Force Touch hardware, was designed and engineered by Synaptics.

Apple does not make hardware, so no one can actually copy anything from Apple.

Th3 fact you think Apple pioneered anything shows just how dumb you are.

Dont come at me with no facts and no argument...newb. because i will shut your dumb butt down.

Probably because it obliterates the clich├ęs they like to use and everything they try to sell their readers. If the narrative of "Apple gets it right" is taken away, what else will they have? They shouldn't worry, though. Someday, maybe in the future, an S8 battery will get warm and a guy in the Philippines will post it on his Facebook account, and PA will be right there.

Maybe Bankz can tell us about how "optimized" the iphone will be:
"The report also states that apps crash three times as often on iOS devices compared to Android. According to the report, apps crashed on 65 percent of the surveyed iPhones and iPads, which is significantly worse than the 25 percent of Android devices reported to have crashed."

But, I'm sure those apps were running "buttery smooth" before they crashed.

I love you man!!! You made me cry!!!!! /s

The PA article is still available -http://www.phonearena.com/news/Report-iOS-devices-failed-more-often-than-Android-units-did-during-Q3_id87913

The worse part is 62% of Apple phones and tablets failed in just 1 quarter, while only 47% of ALL ANDROID DEVICES WERE TALLIED AS FAILED.

In my experience, the apps crash so fats, they dont even open. You hit the icon and a window shows for literally a blink of an eye. Peopel just think maybe they didn't actually press it, because it comes up again.

But the reason this happens is because all the RAM is in use and the app cant open, but opening a new app is suppose to freeze the other and place it on the storage if there is no ram location. But it doesn't happen quick enough, so the app crashes. But when you open it again, it in most cases work fine.

I loved that last line though, that took the cake.

I've got their excuses ready for them...

"Well, Apple makes more profits. And that's what matters to me. I don't care if my OS crashes a lot as long as Apple makes money."

"At least the crashing OS is updated to the latest crashing version quickly....and the emojis are cool."

They are taking about the article that was posted in the early morning hours of today, and now it's gone, not the one that you linked. You may have missed it because it was taken down so fast.

ou mean this article?

"The latest report from Blannco Technology Group revealed that 62% of Apple iPhone and Apple iPad units suffered failures in the third quarter. That compares to the 47% failure rate tallied by Android devices."

What makes this really bad is, Apple makes one tablet and one phone, and it took the tally of ALL OF ANDROID, to just get to 47%...whiel Apple did it with 2 devices...whiel ALL of ANDROID is how many? 1000's of devices....literally!

It's wait and see for me. I've yet to read a rumor that excites me, or see a render that looks good enough to buy if it's the actual look. If the rumors pan out, I'll be keeping my 7 Plus.

The Note 8 had my attention big time though.

The latest pics of the glossy aluminum sides really looks archaic. I get they want to do a throwback but it's ugly in that country figuration. Jet black may be much better but that camera hump is a nightmare.

Apple $7-9 per smartphone to produce the parts, but for the anniversary edition, the price has reportedly jumped to $18-22 per unit.

Will now we know why the phones has to cost 1000 dollars lol. How will some survive this upgrade in tech.
