We don't usually go into too much detail about the Chinese smartphone market, mostly because many of those are impossible/hard to come by in the West, but that doesn't mean we aren't keeping an eye out...

So we can't do video calls due to this heavy front cameras, they're just made for selfies.

Yes you can just because its 13MP doesn't mean it can't take pictures at lower resolution.

Can't tell if this was a joke... but if it was not, the answer is Yes, you can do video calls because the resolution it is controlled by the Video Call App... and even low resolution front facing cameras of 1.38MP can make Full HD front facing video just like this 13MP camera.

The real issue is the lack of 3G and 4G radios for the US are missing. Almost every Chinese phone cannot operate on our bands.

Nonsense you most certainly can use almost all Chinese Clone Phones virtually world wide. I reside in Scotland and am the proud owner of a Star B94M Mobile phone which works fantastically. I am about to purchase my second Chinese phone in a week or so. Why would you pay £600+ pounds for a phone you will more than likely upgrade in a year when you can buy something better for under £150...Only someone with more money than sense would do that. I know rather a lot about technology and especially chinese phones they are exceptional and the people are very kind and helpfull. I would recommend Dracotek on Amazon UK their service is second to none. 1949deal.com and banggood.com also reliable chinese wholesalers. Do not use Aliexpress or Alibaba they are absolutely dreadfull and you will be lucky if you receive a) anything and b) what you actually ordered if they do dispatch :-D

Not really that much of a looker, but it isn't bad at all either. Monkey King is a pretty awesome name for a smartphone.
