I want the aluminum, with a white or blue band. If I don't like it, I have 14 days to return it, so it's no sweat. Do you have an android wearable?

I recently bought a second hand LG Watch R (from a woman who didn't know it wouldn't work on her iPhone) for half the price. At work they are amazed that tech has come so far and made them excited about the Apple watch haha (most users at work have an iPhone). Personally I have mixed feelings about it. The two big turnoffs are for me that it's still getting used to wearing a watch again and battery life. I need to charge it every 1-2 days and it's annoying as hell. When it comes to pure Android Wear, it's decent enough as to functionality. But combined with Tasker and AutoWear, I really like it. I use my phone combined with Bluetooth speaker as my alarm clock. The second alarm will be dismissed when I put on the watch and turn it on, which automatically turn my bedroom lights full on white and get my coffee machine going haha. Not to mention telling my watch to turn on lights, get my desktop pc going and using it to flip channels on my tv :)

Damn that's pretty sweet man.

I think so too, but hardly a killer feature for the general public. Can't expect people to program Tasker and AutoWear profiles and tasks. I am curious to see if the Apple Watch will have integration with the Homekit as well. That will be a very nice feature to just tell Siri on your watch to close the blinds, unlock front door, turn on bedroom lights and stuff. And I know some hotels will work with NFC locks so your watch will give entry to your hotel room in the foreseeable future.

#11: Fugly looks. #12: Hipster cred. #13: Sore wrists from that bump. #14: Inflated ego because you have money to waste on such a stupid product.

Smart watches are over rated and totally unneeded IMO. I feel the same way about tablets too, so what do I know?

This is what i mean by the media being bias in their reporting regarding Apple products. How do we know they are outstanding if we haven't seen it in action yet? I'm not saying the watch is terrible either. Its just when you use words like outstanding on a product that hasn't been released or reviewed, I question whether the review will be nothing than a fluff piece, should these features not live up to the hype, just to keep PA from being blacklisted by Apple.

Its called click bait. You make a holly s**t title to bait people into clicking and hopefully some of them will click on ads too and make moneyzz. Apple being the hotest thing right now its nothing surprising, If you want to bait readers into an article just write something really great or really bad about apple, Plus fandroids will be all over it defending really hard their precious android like its giving them bread to eat.

Some people (not saying Sakeem) don't realize PA is a business.

Paid by Apple! What do you think?

Oh man - I went through all 10 of these "outstanding" features and guess what ... none are worth mentioning.

#10 seems like the author ran out of ideas after #9. See the position of the sun? That's a feature I see in weather apps.

I love how my gear 2 neo can do all these features (minus the stupid heart beat messages) and better and yet its labeled as a pointless companion that is in no way smart. That's just it though: Samsung comes up with something semi useful and its labeled as gimicky, and then apple "reinvents"the exact same thing with less applications , and people say it's creative genius, and people can't get enough.

Not just that, the Gear 2 Neo looks better than this edgy, fedora nerd loser watch from Apple, and that's saying a lot, since I think the Gear 2 Neo looks like dogpoop.

I have to say that that watch only would have me switch to Apple. It is unbelievably well design, just like a Cartier watch with different strap option and even a sapphire like knob! I has me mouth watering. Does it work exclusively with Apple echo system of smartphones? I may just sell my Cartier.

This watch is so well designed that it is going to take Apple to new highs. It looks like a rectangular Cartier it its 42mm version with its sapphire knob and blue strap. I want it and I am a Note Samsung aficionado. Asian very style conscious population is going to want it in mass. The thing is I am not impress by their iPhone 6s versus the Notes but I am mouth watering about this watch.

I think people don't get it here in their comments. A watch for a woman -and men in Europe and some other parts of the world has to be pretty and well designed before all other considerations and Apple watch is the only one that you can mistake for a piece of jewelry. When we all used to wear a watch I never bought Citizen and stuff. A watch had to look deluxe, unlike with a smartphone.

Yup they said the same thing about the iPad.

Although that may be true, we are talking about a smart watch, not a piece of jewelry. Comparing the two is like comparing your favorite notepad and paper with your galaxy note and s pen. And so we must compare like with like, or smart watch with smart watch. After all, I doubt you would wear apple watch or any other smart watch to a cocktail party.
