Your so wrong, The SGIII is more Like An iPhone. Here I am trying to not buy an iCrap iPhone, because I hate that the iPhone don't have an expansion slot or removable battery. Hence the main reason as a Mac own of everything except the iCrap iPhone that I never wanted to buy. Now GSIII and HTC are doing just the same, no removable battery or expansion slot. OK if I'm gonna have to chose from basically no option anymore, Then I'll bite the bullet and get the one with the best ecosystem, and I hate to say this "iPhone". But deep down I really want to continue with my Android phone, however a deal breaker for me is having that extra battery in my pocket so I can just swop in my busy life, I don't have time like those iPhone headless chicken to look all over town for a plug, then waste time to sit and wait to juice up. The new trend of Android are gonna be dead with many Mac user who gonna hate these new breed of Android for the FACT of NO! expansion slots and removable battery. Window user you guys will be just fine, Just talking about Mac user and Haters of iPhone, But LOVE Apple ecosystem, because it is better in every which way.

Plus if I'm gonna be force to use phone with no removable battery or slot expansion, because this is the new market it seems with the Android devices coming out. Try to force user to use cloud storage and use up data like crazy. I will switch to the iCrap iPhone because at least the have a apple genius bar I could go to with problems. Unlike with Android devices. So Android seem like you pushing your Mac user to the arms of Apple to complete our gadgets.

$199 I believe in the the US was the sgs2 launch price. Ill just wait 2 months and it'll be free and there's nothing wrong with that.

The original Epic 4G, SGS1, is still selling for $100 after $50 MIR at Sprint. Originally released August 2010. I don't think the SGS2 or 3 will be hitting rock bottom anytime soon

probably longer than 2 months, the Sprint version of the SGSII is still $200 on contract

I don't think I would jump to that conclusion. However Samsung's S3 will be a killer device. No daoubt about it. I am a current owner of a S2 skyrocket and can truley say this phone get the job done for me. As a formet Iphone 4 owner the Iphone ( iOS) just could not meet the needs for the field that I am employed in but the Samsung S2 did( Android). As of right now it will be very hard for me to switch back to an iPhone again. But that is how I feel about it and to each their own. I belive both samsung and Apple wil do well this year. However, I do sense that Samsung will have the edge as all the Iphone owners have already upgraded to the 4s but S1 and S2 owners and new people SMARTPHONE buyers wiil choice the low to mid end samsungs to start with.

It happens on all android phones because of the sheer amount of phones that are released for android. I bought the Note for $149 less than a month after release. It's just how it is with android branded phones.

lol i dont think "blowup" is the word for it lol...coming from clearly what people were saying about the SGSII "Best phone ever made" and the specs we keep seeing from this phone...... Samsung is gonna "take down" the phone market with this one...sorry iPhone 5....no one really cares anymore

Who are you trying to convince with saying nobody cares about the iPhone? I seriously hope y'all own stock in these companies that y'all defend with your lives. I have a sgs2 and iPhone 4. I had the Note and returned it. Stop being loyal to these companies. Fyi apple isn't going anywhere and no phone can take the iPhone down. More power to y'all for your loyalty.

so where is android going....NO WHERE!...they are both always be here...i could care less about who outsold who or what people say is "better".... android isn't a secondary to apple when we/they own the market right now....i haven't heard or even anyone bring up "iPhone 5" anymore (well lately)

The iphone5 will sell more than the SG lll. But the SG lll will be the better phone. Especially in the specs department.

sale wise no because there's plenty of Android devices to choose from various oems where as with iOS you must get apple but spec wise it will. end of the day iOS is not going anyway and neither is Android for the next few years. 5 years time who knows. iPhone is great for some and Android is for others etc.seriously don't get some of the useless arguments people have just cause the other person doesn't like what they like.all these companies care about 1 thing and that's money and HTC moto etc would do anything to be in apples situation. for the time being no other oems will be making quarterly profits like apple and no single smartphone will sell more than the iPhone but just because it sells more doesn't mean its better.

I love how some individuals starts talking about Apple products (namely iPhone) when clearly the article doesn't mention not one ounce of them. Love to see the list of carriers who preordered.
