apparently you haven't seen the gpu scores vs the M9, which the M9 kills it, so I hope you don't do too much gaming on your phone because you'll be able to literally see the battery drop right before your eyes. :)

Please don't say more to that fellow (gueAHOk), he is not really sure about that he will buy Samsung Galaxy S6, he is just trying to find few reasons that S6 is better than HTC One M9. Even S6 buyers has to Sacrifice when they compare with S5, "No SD Card Slot/No Watrer Proof / No Dust Proof / Non Removable Battery / 2550 & 2600 Battery". More over, if they go to the "Higher Memory Versions, The Prices are also High"!!! Samsung has really cheated their customers this time...

Don't worry, we'll fairly highlight HTC One M9's traits over the Galaxy S6 in no time. Stay tuned.

microSD slot = The Mother of all deal breakers Why would people need a Quad HD on a tiny screen, why?

The S5 in that photo looks so much better and more premium than the HTC M9.

You mean S6 right? That camera housing and protrusion on S6 is hideous and have fun with that fingerprint glass back. Oh you're gonna put a case on it? Then it better be a huge, ugly Otterbox because one drop will shatter the premium glass lol!

HTC design is good, but the same good design used for too many years will have the risk to become disasters. People will hestitate to consider M9 as their next phone because people will think they still holding the M7 or M8

Thinner is not better, bigger battery is better.

While bigger battery is always better, what really important is longer usage time. If Galaxy S6 can beat the Xperia Z3, I think Samsung hit a jackpot. On the other hand HTC device never have a good battery life.

You should probably check the battery test PA did with M8 vs S5. The M8 did as well and better with a "smaller" battery. Now that the M9 has a bigger battery it is most likely gonna be longer lasting. Stop spewing misinformation.

lets see how lg g4 & z4 fair against s6... for now s6 is winning it... wonder how that practically small battery performs on a 5-inch-qhd screen...

You can see how close flagships are to eachother these days. The only features the s6 has over the m9 that could benefit me is the slightly larger screen and faster chipset although the chipset wouldn't matter that much as even a s800 could do the job without hiccups. I can see that the camera department could be usefull to some but im not sure which one makes better pictures. The m9 has more features over the s6 for me. Like the micro sd slot, frontfacing stereo speakers and probably a better audiochip. But the m8/s5/Z2&3 aren't far behind I'd say

The S6 is sooooooooo much more compact than the M9. 1mm x 1mm. It's obviously a lot thinner, but to say the S6 takes up a smaller footprint is exaggerating. Your hand and pocket won't notice the difference. What will make a difference will be the screen placement on the device. Looks like the screen on the S6 is placed a little lower on the chassis, so it will be easier to reach the top of the screen with one hand, compared to the M9. I need to watch some dissassembly videos of the M8, because it just seems like the black "HTC" bar at the bottom is unnecessary, and would make the device much more pocketable.

If anyone can find a way for HTC to tuck the components needed to run the screen without losing the AWESOME speakers PLEASE speak up cause Me, HTC and a lot of others would love to know this.... The Samsung does look a lot nicer then it used to.

Its very simple actually. 1 is bigger screen so they can put more stuff behind it. Also a bigger battery 2 smaller component's. But i love the bezels so i couldn't care less

I still find not removable battery and the absence of memory expandability a major flaw. For the rest, it is a really nice phone, especially in edge version but I would have preferred solid plastic (like Note 4). At the moment no one smartphone suit/statisfy to me. So hard a "smart" version for power user? I don't do fashion shows!

The HTC One M9, conversely, it seems to me very boring with the exception of speakers. Fine the HTC Sense UI.

in pic #1, when we discuss dimensions we shouldn't edit the image just like PA did there. we want to see actual pics. why on earth you remove the camera humps on both unit? show us which one has a more protruding camera.
