10 expensive Android games that are worth checking out
While everyone seems to be looking for free games to play on their mobile devices, we mustn’t forget that paid games often offer a superior experience - not just because they don’t serve ads (like many of the titles that can be downloaded without paying a dime), but also because they’re generally more polished (to the tiniest details), and frequently include enthralling stories.

Of course, more and more game developers choose to offer their titles for free, while making money from in-app purchases. That, however, is something that we may look into some other time, because right now we’ll present you a selection of more-expensive-than-usual paid games that are available on Android.

We’ve ordered the games by price, from lowest to highest, and only included titles that have high ratings:

What a joke, this list is horrible... Took me 10 seconds to find a $14 game not listed (Soulcalibur).

List is a joke, arent even close to most expensive games. Look for Square Enix games. Dragon Quest VIII, japanese version cost 25US and eng version 18US.

I would rather pay $40 for a game on 3DS or Vita with real controls than $16 on my phone

I used to carry my portable gaming consoles every where. Not anymore. I see I am not the only one. The world has suddenly decided that carry it is no longer cool.

Chaos Rings II is one of the very best Game I have played. The Story is so Beautiful and as an Anime Fan I love this game for Game play and the story. The High Price is a bit downside but the game is so Beautiful and it's a little price to pay for that :)

Well emulators virtually kill this list for me.

Doesn't matter if emulators are available. Most of the time, the official titles on mobile are better optimized for performance and controls. Some of them even have some changes from the original version. Besides, it's for good to support developers that put out a good game playing experience workout shilling for that garbage F2P model.

Enjoy downloading an application that has all its game content removed and placed behind virtual currency and other premium barriers that you need to spend $100s to tap into. People like you are the reason the game industry is going in the wrong direction with this free-to-play crap.
