SuperTooth Disco Review
Looks can always be deceiving, but don’t let the SuperTooth Disco's looks fool you because inside are two 8 watt speakers and a 12 watt subwoofer – a total of 28 watts of power! Also, its rechargeable NI MH battery is rated for 3 to 4 hours at high volume, 10 hours on medium, 1,500 hours of standby, and a charging time of 3 hours.

So how does the SuperTooth Disco perform? Well, we have to admit that we’re pleasantly surprised with its output – even more when it’s an affordable one. Specifically, the best sounds are achieved by placing it in the middle position where it produces a good balance of audio with deep and strong bass tones. Frankly, we’re actually surprised to hear such rich tones being pumped out by the SuperTooth Disco, but even more when it’s able to powerfully echo throughout a room. However, cranking it at full blast tends to make it sound strained and irritable – so it’s best to leave it towards the middle setting.

Using the speaker for approximately 30 minutes each time for 3 days, it’s still able to output the same level of audio from the beginning.  Furthermore, we didn’t have any issues in terms of it cutting out or losing connection with our device. And to cap things off, it’s worth noting that you can pair it with up to 8 Bluetooth devices – meaning, you won’t have to pair devices up whenever you use a new one.

Conclusion:

Without a doubt, there are plenty of portable speakers out there that are priced exorbitantly over the $200 mark, but taking into account the on average $100 price point of the SuperTooth Disco, it offers a good balance of value and performance. Honestly, we actually like it mainly due to the fact that it’s portable, rechargeable, wireless, and produces some great audio that’s sure to make people take notice. Therefore, if you want to get down and boogie with the crowd, we’d certainly say that the SuperTooth Disco would more than likely help you get there – while keeping the music flowing steadily of course.
