Sony Xperia T Review

We’ve been waiting with bated breath for the Sony Xperia T ever since it became clear that’s the new phone of James Bond, err… that it will feature a 13MP Exmor R camera sensor from Sony. It is not just that innovative 13MP shooter that the Xperia T has to flaunt – it is powered by a modern 28nm Snapdragon S4, has a large HD screen, and is one of the few to take advantage of Android’s on-screen navigational buttons, allowing it to keep the size compact and bearable...

""There are no major gripes with the handset...." & one of top 4 cons is something as frivolous as the LED light being too small....
Come on PA... How do u justify that 8?

and the Iphone dont even got an LED light but still dont get it in its cons.... because its an IPHONE

i really like Xperia T design, quite appealing to me. However 1.12 microns are quite low for serious camera contender. Both N86 and N8 have 1.75 microns per pixel
Still, with such geogous design, I have to forgive... :)

I could care less what you guys say bout SONY SKIN. I love their design the only thing is it's a MM bigger than the rest. It still have A GREAT SCREEN thanks to their MOBILE BRAVIA ENGINE. I'm only buying this phone cause it's PLAY STATION CERTIFIED and want it to match my PS3 then I'll buy a SONY TV with wifi

very "picky" review.........only thing i agree with on the con area "may" be the call quality..Other than that everything else is HIGHLY opinionated......but also I was never looking forward to the T, and Im sure I speak for alot of us when i say we've been more so waiting on the V and the TX.....overall 8 is a good score and knowing Phone Arena it is also "expected".........thats why the user ratings are usually higher than Phone Arena's ratings...because it is often very opinionated in alot of areas, but nonetheless good review and solid rating thanks Daniel :)

While with good contrast and pleasant, though slightly oversaturated color representation, the pictures don’t boast any extraordinary amount of detail or exceptionally low noise, even outside. We’d say they are about at the level of current high-end iOS and Android phones.
just say na simply PA iPhone 5

Engadget : Lovely high-res 4.6-inch screen
Phonearena : Bad screen reflectance and viewing angles
If the screen was bad, Americans would not miss this.
Who is the liar?

"viewing angles are pretty good" Engadget

Engadget : It's another strong performing screen -- no AMOLED means less color distortion and no PenTile woes. The viewing angles appear identical to the Xperia S, meaning they're pretty damn good. We'd also like to mention here that those on-screen keys give the Xperia T a far up-to-date air than its predecessors -- Sony's catching up.

Can You compare or make a review of the One X (4 cores) with the same version of SIII?; yes... 4.0.4?; a face to face will be interesting, before the Jeally Bean arrive...
I see a big diference in benchmarking...

All it needs is a sense-esque flipclock and the UI is all set.
Anyone would rather have a sense-esque flipclock compared to the boring active clock of touchwiz.

Nice review but what service provider did you use to test the phone on. That would be nice to know.

It has last years specs, and a ugly design, also on screen button suck. Bad device all around.

Keep drinkin them Kimchi-flavoured Hatorade, Samsung fanboy. Hating on Sony's tech won't change a thing.

Can anyone please tell me when is xperia t, v and j launching?
47. kurtdean94 (Posts: 7; Member since: 28 Aug 2012)
SERIOUSLY I really don't get it. In other reviews they said Xperia T has good viewing angle and a great screen but IPhoneArena said otherwise.

What a incredibly poor camera processing algorithm. Would have expected that with Sony improving its imaging line with RX 100 and RX 1 that there would be some improvement in the xperia T

How does this phone stack up against the Xperia Ion (now with ICS on the latter)? Particularly, camera wise...

808 vs Xperia T shootout:
I think it fairs pretty good.

Is it just me or there is more space below the screen than it is above the screen?
I am still waiting for a phone that uses the onscreen buttons to shorten the phone.
55. miki69 (Posts: 15; Member since: 01 Mar 2012)
you're right. Top seems quite cramed while bottom - well, like there is some space left unused.
