Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 PreviewSony Ericsson XPERIA X2
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 does have what it takes to make it to the top and give the other high-end Windows-powered handsets a good run for their money. All interface improvements and the 8-megapixel camera that it comes equipped with will probably be its major weapons in the upcoming battle for supremacy. Still, let´s wait and see; only time will tell. The manufacturer has still not announced an official release date. Some rumors go the phone is rolling out in Q4 this year, others have it sales are kicking off as soon as October. The latest information comes from the Expansys blog and says the X2 is coming out January 2010. Whatever the case, there´s not much time until we see it hit the shelves and we can´t wait to get our hands on a retail unit.

mp3 player seems dissappointing... not much of features... When you write the review, could you be more specific on the media player? I mean the mp3 player? like the sound quality through the headphone + external speaker and be more specific on the features. Thanks in advance!

It's a bit hard to imagine they have launched this ph with a non capacitive & a minuscle 3.2" screen, lacking internal GB memory, no FM (X1 has it), usefull features like turn to mute, Digi compass all simply lacking. People buy phones for features and price, SE better get more features and price it low-$500-$550 (Learn SE! learn from Nokia - 3million N97 in 2 mnths, & others makers for God's sake)

thank's very much mate for mentioning all these key features sony ericsson have left out on its x2,the've lots it to nokia and htc this 2009,no radio,no equaliser/mega bass, not to mention no GB phone build memory, they should just hope sony ericsson rachael can survive them comes january, they're taking consumer needs for granted, forgetting that time wait for no one in the mobile phone business, yet they one to put up a retail price of £550-600,what for? i don't get it!
