Go to page
You can access the menu by selecting/pressing the menu key from the main screen. Press up or down arrow buttons to move to the next menu. The menus on the R225 are very fast and easy to use. The phone offers a range of functions that allow you to tailor the phone to your needs. These functions are arranged in menus and sub-menus. The menus and sub-menus can also be accessed by shortcuts.

Call Records
The phone has 10 entries for each call types (10 missed, 10 incoming, 10 outgoing) It also shows the call time and the call cost. I don't think 10 entries are enough. With no land line I'm using my cellular for everything. Very often I loose numbers I dialed (over 10) Call Records Option: 1-1 Missed Calls 1-2 Incoming Calls 1-3 Outgoing Calls 1-4 Call Time 1-4-1 Last Call 1-4-2 Total Outgoing 1-4-3 Total Incoming 1-4-4 Reset Timers 1-5 Call Cost 1-5-1 Last Call Cost 1-5-2 Total Cost 1-5-3 Max Cost 1-5-4 Reset Counters 1-5-5 Set Max Cost 1-5-6 Price/Unit 2-6-2 Receive 2-6-3 Channel List 2-6-4 Language 2-7 Picture Messages

Messages
You can check your voice mail by selecting voicemail option. It should automatically connect you to your voicemail box. One feature I'm using every day is Read/Write SMS messages. Very useful and costs almost nothing to send/receive messages. You can also set your regular email account (like hotmail) to forward emails to your wireless device. (Write to support@phonearena.com if you want to learn how to do this) Very useful if your phone is not Internet capable and you are expecting an important email but don't have Internet connection to check it. Use the Set up option only if you really know what you're doing. You should be very careful especially with the service number. Do not change it or you will never be able to send/receive messages. Have fun and send/receive picture messages (The phone you sending the message to should also has this feature) Messages Options 2-1 Voice Mail 2-1-1 Connect to Voice Mail 2-1-2 Voice Server Number 2-2 Read Messages 2-3 Write Messages 2-4 Preset Message List 2-5 Setup 2-5-1 Service Center 2-5-2 Default Type 2-5-3 Default Validity 2-5-4 Reply Path 2-5-5 Delivery Report 2-6 Broadcast 2-6-1 Read 2-6-2 Receive 2-6-3 Channel List 2-6-4 Language When the Read Messages menu is selected, the header of the first message is displayed: - Message number - Message status (new, old, not sent, sent) - To view this message, press the View soft key. The screen shows the: - Sender's phone number (if sent with the message) - Date and time at which the message was received - Message text Text Reply allows you to reply by sending a text Via this menu, you can write and edit text messages of up to 160 characters.
